"Mom wake up wake up!" I rolled over and looked at my clock then groaned. Six AM. How can this kid wake up at 6 am everyday? Especially after the tiring day we had yesterday. Oh yeah he fell asleep on my back.

"Mom I want pancakes and bacon,  please."

"Maybe after we have fifteen minutes of cuddle time. Mommies still waking up"

"No mom, we have been sleeping all night. I want to go explore the forest again today."

"Actually, we are going to meet Aunt Juels today at her spa so mommy can fill out some paperwork. 10 minutes of cuddle time first though before we do anything." I countered.

Plus I'm not going back in that forest anytime soon. Not with the creepy being watched feeling I had the whole time. I shuddered at the thought.

"5 minutes of cuddle time. Then you make me pancakes." He shot back to which  I arched my brow.

"Please," he quickly added. That is one thing I think I have done well with Connor. I try to instill manners in him no matter what

"Fine 5 minutes, then pancakes." I grabbed him, threw him in bed, draped my arm over his tiny body and pulled him close. This was one of the best parts of being a mom. Cuddle time.

"You're silly," he giggled.

"You are going to turn into a pancake," I replied.

"No I'm not," he said in the most serious shocked and confused voice. I smiled. He is the best part of me.

After breakfast Connor and I played go fish about twenty times then I began to get ready. We were to meet Aunt Juels at her spa at 2:00. I would fill out paperwork, then she would take Connor around town while one of the other employees trained me till 5:00

Even though Aunt Juels already knew me I wanted to make a good impression. I didn't want her to think I was taking advantage of her, or the job opportunity, so I wanted to look my best.

I decided to wear a burgendy cowl neck sheath dress with a pair of nude heels. I curled my honey blonde hair so it laid in loose waves, applied light foundation, and a coat of mascara. Just as I was finishing up, around 12:00, there was a knock on the door.

That was odd. I didn't think anyone knew where we lived except for Aunt Juels. Who am I kidding the whole town probably knew. Still, who would be visiting us?

We didn't know anyone. I suddenly became uneasy remembering the feeling of being watched yesterday.

"Connor don't you dare go near that door," I shouted as I raced down the stairs worried he was already trying to open it and not knowing who was on the other side.

"Yes mommy, I know not to do that already. You've told me a billion times."

Then why did you open the door for the movers the other day? I thought. 5 year olds are so sassy.

Once I got down stairs I cautiously approached the door. Should I even open this? Again I was reminded we lived in the middle of the forest with no one around, and no one to hear me scream. I slightly opened the door and peeked just my head out.

I was met with the smiling familiar face of Aunt Juels. Letting out a breath I opened the door fully. Although we only saw her on special holidays I had always liked Aunt Juels. She was always so kind and welcoming.

Aunt Jules has long straight brown hair and green eyes. The exact same green as David's. Although she is in her 60's one would never know apart from the small wrinkles outside the connors of her eyes.
