Fighting seemed to continue on forever or it seemed as though we had just began. I couldn't tell.

The only thing I could tell was that it was going to be almost impossible to get to Connor's grandfather. I wasn't going to give up though.

A wolf came at me from the side. Before he could attack I whipped my head, bit his neck, and threw him to the side.

Looking up I made eye contact with the alpha  who sneered. At the moment another wolf came from the opposite side. I threw him off then another and another.

He was ordering them to kill me. However, I noticed something peculiar. Some of them were trying really hard and some of them were not trying at all.

This meant there were wolfs in the pack not loyal to Connor's grandfather.

He was using mind control to force them to come at me and the attack my pack.

If they weren't loyal to him then they had to be loyal to Connor. After all the rightful alpha was David and with David dead Connor was next in line.

Connor has had to do too much already but I had an idea. One that could end this battle. End this war and give the horrible alpha what what he deserved.

I mindlinked Connor. "Connor buddy you hear me?"

"Yes," came his almost immediate reply in my mind.

"I need you try something. I need you to try to send a mindlink to the members of the redmoon pack telling them to resist fighting and to join the crescent moon pack instead."

As I spoke these words in my mind I continued to throw wolf after wolf off of me. I didn't know how much longer I could take it.

"How do I do that?" Connor asked. He had never sent a mindlink to an entire pack before, much less one he hadn't met.

Just concentrate on every wolf hearing you and with as much authority as you can say these words 'if you are loyal to me if you do not him to be your leader anymore than stop fighting and join the crescent moon pack. Once we win we will merge our packs. Join our side.' Do you think you can do that?"

"I can try."

Fighting continue, growls and bites all around me and then all of a sudden three wolfs around me stopped and kneeled in submission.

More and more wolves began to kneel. Way more than I even thought would.

Most were loyal to David..........to Conor.

"Good job, buddy." I sent connor the message and then mind linked those kneeling who had basically agreed to join the crescent moon pack.

"Attack the unrightful leader," it was the only order I gave in my mind.

All the wolfs from my pack and most of the red moon pack turned toward Connors grandfather snarling with delight.

Those from the red moon pack looked the most eager to rip him apart.

God he must have treated them horribly.

A look of terror crossed Lupas' face before he turned and ran those few that were loyal to him followed.

Hundreds of wolfs ran in the direction and it was over in seconds. Members of the redmoon pack ripped him apart.

Although I would of liked to have done that myself it looked like they needed revenge as much as I did.

When the fighting ended wolfs transformed and began cheering and hugging.

I cheered along with them and then a wave of sadness hit me. Theo......... Carla. The names ringing in my head were like a bucket of ice water.

How can I face Lilly? God how could I let this happen. No parents. I left her with no parents.

As her godfather I would be the best dad to her that I could possible be. I needed to go get everyone out of the bunker.

I stood on a table so all would see me. "Gather your fallen loved ones. Tomorrow morning we will have a ceremony for those who lost their lives today. We will mourn and in the evening we will have the union ceremony for the joining of our packs. Then we will celebrate!" The crowd cheered and I smiled but deep down there was just a horrible pit in my stomach.
