The dining hall of the pack house was humming with excitement.

Even the small kids who had no idea what was happening were running around with more enthusiasm than usual.

Food was piled on every table and there were purple flower arrangements everywhere.

Her favorite color.

The flowers were compliments of Aunt Jules of course.

Everyone was in the hugest of spirits talking and laughing with one another until everyone got quiet.

Everyone; including the children turned to look toward the top of the stairs as Millie descended.

She was stunning.

No that was an understatement. She was breathtaking.

Her honey blonde hair fell in loose curls past her shoulders. The white of her dress made her tan skin pop.

The dress itself was stunning. Beautiful lace that hugged every curve.

My woman is perfect.

My mouth was practically open by the time she reached the bottom step, which was when I realized I needed to snap out of it.

Millie was nervous enough and needed me to be there for her not just gawk at her, which I could do all day.

I quickly made my way to her and held out my arm, which she willingly took.

"You ready?" I whispered.

"Yeah just don't let me go, everyone is staring at me."

"That is because you are beautiful and they love you." My chest swelled with pride as I realized just how much of an impact Millie had already made on this pact without even knowing it.

We approached an elder of the pack who was to administer the oath.

He smiled at Millie with such warmth I would have been possessive if I didn't know he had his mate and that he was 60 years old.

The whole ceremony went by in a blur. It was so surreal. As if I was living out a fantasy.

It made me wonder what our wedding would be like one day.

You gotta ask her first dummy. And as her, I soon would.

The whole night I stared at Millie as we danced laughed and talked with the pack members.

Everyone wanted to congratulate her on becoming the new Luna and tell her how much they loved her already.

I on the other hand just wanted to get her alone. To kiss her soft lips and to feel her soft skin.....run my fingers through her soft hair.

Everything about her was damn soft.

Except of course her mind she was a tough one that was for sure. I witnessed it as she got into it with Mr. Jenkins, always made sure Connor had the best and made it through tough times with virtually no support.

My Luna was a firecracker and I couldn't wait to spend the rest of my life learning every part of her.

Touching the ring in my left pocket I let out a deep breath and looked up.

Millie was in the middle of a conversation with Carla, Theo's wife. She was radiant, smiling and laughing with her.

That woman's laughter was music to my ears.

Okay here goes nothing.

"Um sorry to interrupt, but Millie could I see you on the balcony for a second?" I began cautiously.

"Of course," Millie said as if she was unsure. Sparks went up my arm as I grabbed her hand in mine to lead her outside.

I knew she felt the same emotions and that thought alone made my heart soar.

Right before I opened the door to the balcony I turned, grabbed her face in my hands, and kissed her hard on the lips.

The second I opened the door Millie froze. Connor was standing in the middle of the balcony surrounded by even more purple flowers. There were twinkle lights and balloons everywhere, but most importantly Connor was holding a sign.

The sign read Sam wants us to be a family of 3. Millie gasped, turned to look at me, and as she did I got down on one knee.

"Millie, the moment I saw you I knew I had finally found my mate. Your sweet voice was music to my ears and all I wanted to do the day after seeing you for the first time was to hear your voice and look into your beautiful eyes every day for the rest of my life. Millie, I am already yours will you be mine? Make me the happiest man in the world and become my wife."

Tears were falling down my beautiful angel's face before I could even get the last few words out. "I...I don't know what to say," she spoke in between tears.

"You have to say yes because he already asked if he could adopt me and I already said yes," Connor states matter of factly.

At this Millie let out something in between a sob and a laugh and said "yes, yes of course, yes."

I didn't even wait. I jumped up and immediately scooped her up in my arms. Connor, of course, got jealous and came running over and I, eager to embrace both of them bent down and scooped him up too.

As the 3 of us embraced on the balcony I had never felt so complete.

We were already a family.
