Everything was perfect down to each strand of Millie's gorgeous honey blonde hair. The ceremony was something I would remember and hold in my heart forever.

This reception though Aunt Jules, Carla, Annakate, and Kelsey outdid themselves with the reception.

They planned the whole thing and wow I'm glad they did.

A beautiful white tent accompanied by probably a thousand twinkle lights was placed just outside of the pack house. Each table had a beautiful bouquet of white and pink flowers complemented by a candle.

The whole setting was romantic and beautiful and as a guy I knew there was no way I would have ever been able to design anything like it.

I looked down at the gorgeous woman in my arms and felt my heart stop. She was officially mine.

God I'm lucky.

As I looked down at her she looked back at me with so much love in her eyes. I bent down to kiss her and just as I was leaning down there was a tap at my leg.

"Can I cut in?" Connor ask. He wanted a dance with his momma. Sweetest kid.

"You are the only man in the world I would let cut in. Of course you can buddy." I said patting him on the head and he grinned.

Millie smiled and curtseyed ready to dance with her new partner. She was absolutely radiating. The most beautiful woman I had ever seen

I sat there and watched them thinking about how lucky I was to have them both when shouting came from the left side of the tent.

"Stop they're coming. He figured out how to get through the barrier they're coming hide." The voice of a man I had never met yelled as loud as he could.

My heart stopped and not in a good way. The man approached me widely with chaos in his eyes.

Smelling him I realized instantly he was a member of the red moon pack but not only that he was clearly related to the man that we saw at the football stadium.

I looked at him in a questioning and urgent manner he began to speak quickly and as though he was short of breath.

"Harold is coming. He knows how to get through the charms and he is coming now tonight. Hide Connor quickly. He wants Connor. Hide him and prepare your troops to fight. Please, Connor is the packs only hope." He said all of this as rushed as he coulda

So there were people still loyal to Connor in the red moon pack.

My suspicions were correct but I didn't have time to think about that right now. I had to protect Connor, Millie, and my pack.

I turned to Millie, "lead all of the children and elderly to the bunker. Stay there until I let you out. Do not let a soul in. Do you understand?"

"Sam?" She questioned with panic.

"It's going to be alright," I reassured her with a nod then shouted while also sending out a mind link, "If you are able to fight then prepare to fight if you are unable head to the bunker with Millie now."

"What if something happens to you? How will I know?" With so much anxiety in her voice.

"Nothing will and if it does I will mindlink Connor so he knows when y'all can come out." I reassured then kissed her once hard and fast before telling her to go.

It was all I could do. I had to prepare my pack for what was to come.
