After lots and lots of convincing and begging Sam finally agreed to let me come back to work.

We did both agree, however that Connor should continue with homeschooling till everything was sorted out just to be on the safe side.

Luckily the principal of Connor's school was a warlock and knew of the situation so he understood.

Was everyone in this town mythical? I was starting to wonder.

Walking into Aunt Jules spay and looking and Kelsey I smiled. I knew there was at least one person as clueless as me when it came to this stuff, more so even and that was Kelsy.

"Hey Kels.," I said as I walked behind the counter.

"Eeeep," was her exsasperated squeal as she jumped out of her chair and squeezed.
I squeezed her back in turn.

"Where have you been?"she demanded now looking at me. "I have had to do every shift with Tony," she exclaimed.

Tony was interesting ....let's just leave it at that.

"Kelsey I was gone for a week not a year and I told you we went on a road trip." I didn't like lying to her.....but I couldn't exactly tell her a pack of angry stupid werewolf's were after my son and I either.

"Yeah, yeah I want details and pictures!" She once again demanded.

"Later, later," I promised knowing full well there would be no later. "What about you what have you been up to?" I inquired trying to get the attention off me.

At that moment James Carter walked in. I had to admit after all of the help he gave Connor I now had a sense of respect for him.

Out of the corner of my eye I noticed Kelsey was a complete puddle.

Oh Kelsey.

She really was so gorgeous. Her green eyes could make a person stop dead in there tracks. She also had really pretty pouty pink lips. Yep she was basically a bombshell.

What the hell was wrong with James Carter?

"Hey ladies, Millie, Kelsy." When he said Kelsey's name he seemed to stay on it just a little longer as of tasting it on his tounge.

Okay? May be nothing was wrong with James Carter.

"Are you just getting your usual," she asked softly but blushed as she asked as if asking him what kind of massage he wanted was the most embarrassing thing in the world.

James Carter just nodded in response never taking his eyes off Kelsy even as she rung him up.

When she handed him the towel his hand reached on top of hers and he held it a little too long.

Just a second though a normal person probably wouldn't have noticed but someone who had been head over heels before, which I obviously was with Sam, would.

"Thank you," he spoke huskily again with total attention on her. Kelsey just nodded in response.

As soon as he walked away I turned to Kelsey.

"Okay he is so totally into you."

"Oh uh no he's not," was her awkward and timid reply.

"Yeah he is. What happened while I was gone?" I demanded.

"Um kinda a lot," Kelsey said blushing. "But I'll have to tell you later," she added. I could tell she absolutely did not want to talk about it at all right now so I decided to let it go.

"Okay, but you better tell me later," I scolded.

"I will," she promised.

"When I get back from my honeymoon over drinks?" I wanted to confirm a more set in stone plan.

"Definitely." Kelsey agreed.

After the incident at the football stadium I was unsure about the wedding but with recent events I realized living in fear was going to get us nowhere.

We would be bringing Connor with us on our honeymoon. It would be more of a family vacation then a honeymoon but I knew Sam was perfectly happy with that.

He's literally perfect.

I wasn't worried about going on the honeymoon. I knew Sam would protect us and again I wasn't going to delay my wedding because of my horrible ex father in law either.

I just needed to tell Sam all of this. He thought we were postponing the wedding but we aren't.
