Aunt Jules,Kelsy, Carla and I had spent the day test testing cake, looking at flower arrangements, and wedding dress shopping.

Amazingly I found the perfect one. A floor length, long sleeve, white lace dress with an open back.

The moment I put it on Aunt Jules began to tear up and I knew it was the one.

The day couldn't have been more perfect. Smiling I took a bite of chocolate pie that we picked up from Billies on the way out of town.

When we walked into Billie's, Anna Kate winked at me and said "you are going to look goddess-like in the dress." I guess being a witch meant she could tell the future too?

Who knows? Like I previously said nothing surprises me anymore.

The game shouldn't be over for a while and the boys were over an hour away.

What to do what to do?

Just as I was about to sit on the couch and turn on one of my shows, I never get to watch what I want to on tv, the door opened.

"Hey you boys are home early. Connor found the game boring?" I asked in a teasing tone towards Sam, who I just now realized looked very solemn.

"No! It was AMAZING. I'm going to be a famous football player when I grow up!" Connor shouted out gleefully.

"Oh well then why are y'all home so early. Not that I'm complaining or anything." I added although truth be told I was looking forward to watching some rom com in the peace and quiet.

"Uh buddy, why don't you go play in your room while I talk to your mom for a second?" Sam asked bending down.

His solemn tone and overall demeanor made me nervous.

I did not like the unsure of himself looking Sam in front of me.

As soon as Connor left the room I stood and in a rushed voice asked, "What's going on?"

"I think you should sit down," Sam spoke pointing to the couch to which I obliged uneasily.

"I uh don't know how to say this but um when we were at the game there was a member of the Red Moon pack there." My hands immediately went to my mouth and a gasp escaped my lips.

"Now before you freak out," he continued putting a hand up, "he didn't follow us back."

"So!?!?" I exclaimed jumping to my feet. "If they saw Connor they'll know he's here and they'll come looking for him again," I said pacing back and forth.

"I know Millie, believe me I know, but this is still the safest place for Connor the twins have placed extra protections on this area and more than that everyone here protects their own. Connor and you are much better off here than anywhere else. We will keep training hard and preparing for war. When they come we will be ready and we will find a place to hide you and Connor." The whole time he spoke I paced back and forth across the living room.

"How much time do you think we have till they come?" I asked although I really didn't want to know the answer.

"At least two weeks. The members would have to relay the information then they would have to gather their troops and make it back here."

I stoped pacing let out a huge breath and collapsed down onto the lazy boy behind me.

What the hell should I do? Should Connor and I leave. What to do what to do?

"Millie uh I think you and Connor should stay in the safe until we know more information."

"Safe?" I questioned.

"Yeah underneath the pack house we have a bunker of sorts it's bullet and fire proof. There's food, a shower and even a tv down there. You guys would be super safe."
Uh? We've  been living here for over two months now and I had no idea.

"Um I have work and Connor has school. I can't just take off work and tell them I don't know when the hell I'll be back."

"I'm sure Aunt Jules won't mind and the safety of you two comes first." Was his sharp and quick reply.

He came and sat right in front of me on the ottmen and took my hands in his.

Even in this stressed out moment his touch calmed me down while simultaneously taking my breath away.

"Millie, Millie I'm so sorry you're going through this baby." He spoke the words softly as he ran his fingers over my hand.

"I love you." I whispered looking up at him and it was the absolute truth.

"I love you more. So........there is one thing we could try to try to figure out a more accurate time frame of when they will arrive, but you aren't going to like it."

"What," I questioned curiously anything that would help me protect my boy better I would like.

"Hear me out. Connor could try to mind link his grandfather. With the spell placed on him his grandfather won't be able to communicate with Connor unless Connor allows him to and he won't be able to know Connor is in his mind essentially. Connor will be able to hear his grandfather's thoughts without his grandfather hearing his because of the spell."

"Oh absolutely not! Hell no!" I yelled before storming out.

On my way out of the room I heard sam mutter, "I knew that's how that was going to go."

Good he should have known better.

If Connor was reading his grandfathers thoughts he could hear something horrible. You know like his grandfather plotting to kill him!

No way I was letting that happen.
