It took us only 20 minutes to pick out a Christmas tree.

When Connor saw the one Sam was currently hauling into the house he ran up to it, paused in front, and with his mouth wide open said "that's the one."

Of course, it had to be the biggest one at the farm.

"Are you sure you don't need any help?" I question Sam as he carried the gigantic tree up the steps.

He was wearing a long sleeve white shirt with red sleeves. His jeans were hugging his ass just right and he looked like an underwear model to me.

Every time he moved his muscles flexed causing my want for him to grow.

"No I got," he said smiling and easily placing the tree in the living room.

Werewolf strength. I don't think I'll ever get use to it.

"Show off." I teased.

I had to admit the tree was stunning it reached almost to the ceiling in the living room and Sam did not have any short ceilings in his home.

I took a second to stand there and look at it in awe.

Our first tree.

As I had thought I knew there would be many more years of this to come.

A crazy thing to think since we just technically started dating but I knew it to be true.

Sam's got me.

"You guys ready to decorate this tree," Sam asked walking out of his room with a huge box I guess he had hidden away.

Connor started jumping and then stopped, "wait a minute we need something," he said in a serious tone.

What?

"What's that buddy?" Sam questioned confused. Poor Sam hope Connor doesn't make him go back to the store.

"Christmas music!" Connor exclaimed.

Funny I do not know where he got that from.

He must have watched a Christmas movie.

"I can do that," Sam laughed, pulling out his phone and with a click of a button was playing jingle bell rock.

For the next few hours, we decorated the tree, baked cookies, and drank hot chocolate.

"I got you a present," Sam told Connor.

Oh gosh, he is going to spoil him. It's literally December 3rd.

"Oooh, Christmas came early this year," I laughed.

"It's just a little something," Sam shrugged handing Connor a present to unwrap.

"What is it? What is it? Connor asked, jumping up and down."

"Open it up and see," I said smiling at him and Sam.

They were so cute together. Almost as if they were made for each other just as much as I was made for Sam.

I didn't exactly know how werewolves knew who their mates were but I knew the instant connection I felt with Sam it was the same one I felt with David all those years ago. I just didn't know what it was back then.

When Sam looks at me it's like the world stops and when he touches me a fire burns inside of me I don't think I'll ever be able to quench.

"It's a slinky dog from toy story," Connor announced joyfully.

"Wow, that was so nice. Did you tell Sam thank you?" I asked

"Thank you," Connor exclaimed hugging Sam's knees.

That man really is tall.

"And Connor and I both got you this," Sam spoke softly pulling out a black box from his pocket.

"You guys did?" I questioned looking from one to the other.

"Open it open it!" Connor demanded.

I haven't gotten a present in forever. I was not close with my parents at all and I was too busy to make any friends after David died.

All I had was Aunt Jules, Connor, and now Sam.

Along with Sam came the whole pack.

Thinking about the pack made me smile. Connor and I were made part of the family. It is so nice to feel like we have a family outside of the two of us finally.

When I opened the box a gasp left my mouth. In it was a gorgeous silver bracelet. Complete with a moon and purple charm.

Looking at the moon made my smile grow. A reminder of Sam and Connor even when I'm not with them. I'm sure that's why he did it.

"Millie," Sam started nervously, " I know I have told you about alphas and lunas. Each pack needs a Luna she's an important member of the pack. As my beautiful mate, I need you to be by my side always. You give me strength. So will you?" His words came out in one quick breathy strand.

"Will I what?" I asked confused.

"Will you be my Luna?"
