Before I start writing, I want to let you know that I asked for help on thinking of an Idea. Somebody gave me an idea, and this is sort of it. But I am making it original.
(Amanda Rollin's POV*)
I walked into the precinct an hour early and sat at my desk. I started some paperwork but I didn't really get that far with it, because I can't stop thinking about my sister.
She was my baby sister one minute, and then she goes and sets me up so that she can get money. She is so stupid she didn't realize that I could have lost my job because of her.
I spend about the whole collecting my thoughts, when Olivia walks in.
"Hey Liv." I sigh.
"Hey Amanda. What's wrong?" She asked me.
"I don't know, I guess I am just bored. My sister used to keep me on my feet and happy, now I am always bored and alone." I say still doing work.
"Well, you know that guy I used to go out with, the lawyer?" I nodded. "Well, his wife runs an adoption community, I can probably talk to him. You can adopted a child with out so much paperwork and court dates." She says in a whisper so nobody can hear her although we are the only ones here.
"Well, I don't want to be a mom, maybe an older sister." I say with a light smile.
"Okay, do you want me to call him?" She asked.
"Ummm... I don't know yet, let me think about it." I say smiling as the rest of the squad walks in.
"Where's Captain?" I asked. (Yes, John Munch and Captain Cragen are still here.)
"He is going to be late. Traffic." Nick said.
"So guys, What do you think of me adopting a kid? As a sister." I asked.
"Rollins, that's great. Do it. When?" Carisi asked.
"Olivia is going to talk to her ex." I said.
"Let me go call him." She said. I nodded.
"Cool." Carisi said sitting down. After waiting two minutes, Olivia walked out.
"So, He said that if you would like to come in tomorrow, you can. I told him that you would like to adopted someone sporty and cheerful. So you won't be bored." She laughed. I nodded.
"Do you guys want to come?" I asked.
"Wait, that's not it. You are going to watch a softball game that all the children are playing in. They have a team at the center. You can meet everybody there." I said.
"Awesome, so do you guys?"
"Hell yea!" Fin yelled.
"Yea, we wouldn't miss it." Nick said.
"I'll me there." Carisi said.
"What time?" John asked.
"Why? You got a date?" I asked.
"Yea, with the dentist." I laughed.
"You can skip." Olivia laughed. For the rest of the day, Olivia and the rest of us, kept showing me pictures of all the kids on the TV. It is going to be hard to pick just one. They are all so cute and I feel bad. But it is my decision. I will choose on personality.
