Adopted But Not Saved

Blood Cells

(Ava's POV*)

The next morning, I wake up not feeling to well. I walk to the bathroom, and unexpectedly Throw up. I guess, I am making a lot of noise because Amanda walks in.

"What's wrong?" She asked holding my hair back.

"I don't feel good." I moan wiping my lips.

"Oh, let me call Capt'n, and ask if I can stay home with you." I nod and she walks out. 2 minutes later she walks back in. "Movie day." She laughs as she grabs a bucket out of the closet and we go to the living room. We sit on the couch and watch shark week for 3 hours. I don't throw up again.

I hear Amanda's phone ring, and she answers it and leaves the room.

(Amanda's POV*)

"What?!" I yell whisper into the phone.

"I know. This sucks." Fin says.

"Are they sure?" I ask nervous.

"The blood cells proves that Ava is pregnant." He sighs.

"How do I tell her?"

"Wait, tonight we will all come over. It's better to hear it from her family."

"Okay." I hang up and walk back into the living room to see Ava laughing at the tv show that was on TV. I love her smile, but I know that it will be gone soon.

I sit next to her and watch more movies until the whole squad arrives.

"Hey guy." Nick says as everybody walks in and sits on the couch. Ava can tell something's wrong.

"What's wrong guys?" She asks.

"Umm,, Ava, we need to talk." Fin says, as Ava starts to look scared.

"Okay, what?" She says.

"Well, today the doctors called us, in your blood, we can tell when somebody is pregnant. We believe that you might be." Olivia said. Ava's face lost all color and she blinked fast.

"Oh." She said. She slowly stood up and started to walk to the kitchen. She looked like she was going to the fridge, when she quickly grabbed my gun off the side of the table and held it to her head.

"Ava!" I yelled as we all got up and looked at her. "Please put the gun down."

"No, why should I? My parent gave me up, I was raped 2 TIMES! I have no friends, and I am having my Uncles baby!" She screamed and sobbed.

"Ava, please, we all love you, we can put the child up for adoption if you want." Nick reasoned.

"NO! Nobody should have to go through that. Nobody. Not even the monster's child."

"Then we will raise it."

"No." She said.

"Ava, we will figure this out." I said trying not to cry. Ava began crying.

"I already have this figured out." She said as she moved the gun to her stomach and pulled the trigger. She fell to the ground.

"No!!" I yelled and ran over to her. She started to cough and blood came out of her mouth.

"Ava stay with me, okay?" I asked. She closed her eyes. Fin, Nick and Carisi came over to us as Olivia called 911. Nick rolled up her shirt and tried to stop the bleeding.

"Ava, wake up." Fin said. She was alive but her eyes won't open. Soon the ambo was here and we were driving to the hospital. The 3rd time this month.
