"So, where exactly are we going? She could be anywhere!" Dad asked from the drivers seat.

"Just keep going." Rhydian told him, his hand holding mine as he branched out to Eolas. Mum turned around to face us, "Can you see her?"

He shook his head, "No... it's just a feeling."

Mum sighed and turned back around. We were heading towards the city, the last place any of us wanted to be, but if Maddy was there then it was worth it.

Suddenly, Rhydian cried out beside me, covering his ears with his hands and wincing.

"Rhyd!" I exclaimed, "You okay?" I asked him desperately. He shook his head. I looked out of the windows to look for anything that could have been disrupting Eolas. Then I saw it, the pylons once again.

"Get us away from those pylons!" I told dad. I rubbed Rhydian's arm, trying to provide as much comfort as I could as we drove on. The effect of the pylons must have been too great as he was still in pain.

"Let me take over." I told him quietly. He shook his head, "No, Lia. You'll only feel as bad as me."

I shrugged, "I'm not letting you take all the glory." I joked, trying to convince him. He looked at me carefully, before sighing and snapping out of it.

"You sure you can do this?" He asked me. I nodded, though I didn't know if I could. I had only used Eolas once, the day before, and there were no pylons then.

I took a breath, before relaxing my muscles, letting the nature around me flood my system. I opened my eyes and looked up. Instead of seeing the shallow car roof, I saw the city, cars, houses, buildings... then Maddy.

I gasped, "She's still on the back of that truck... its stopped moving now... she's about to hop off." I groaned in pain as the effect of the pylons took over me. I immediately snapped out of Eolas, as not to suffer the downsides of the electricity.

"Do you think you can find her?" Mum asked. I nodded, "Well, I know where the truck is, at least. But we have to move fast." I told dad.

Thankfully, the pylons didn't have a longlasting effect on me, and as soon as I snapped out of Eolas, I was perfectly fine. Rhydian, however, was still suffering.

I put my arm around him as we drove into the city. He looked at me, his eyes tired and his face completely drained from color.

"Mum..."

She turned around, looking at my worried expression before turning to the blonde boy next to me. She gasped, "Rhydian!"

"We need to get him to a park, closer to nature." Dad told us, and he drove towards the nearest park.
