Turns out, the situation was far from dealt with. Standing in the corridor waiting for their next lesson, Shannon suddenly burst into the corridors, storming straight towards the group, "Stop interfering, Maddy! Jana didn't make me take dolhdrenc - I chose to."

"Well, it's a terrible choice!" Maddy told the girl. She wasn't angry with Shannon, she was just worried about her. Shannon scoffed before replying, "And it's mine to make!" she hissed, "I'm a big girl and I can look after myself, thanks."

Shannon gave the other three individual glares before walking away. Lia's jaw was hanging open. Not once had she seen her act like that - ever. She wanted to believe it was just the effect of the dolhdrenc, but she truly did seem furious with them. Jana soon came through the same doors as Shannon had, and, seeing the looks on their faces, she didn't need to use her senses to know that Shannon had already spread her fiery attitude on the group. She sighed, "I tried. I did."

School had finally finished for the week, and due to the excitement of the eclipse, they didn't take their bad moods out of the door with them. They hadn't forgotten the way Shannon had acted earlier, but they decided not to let it spoil the eclipse for them. Besides, once the night was over, Shannon wouldn't be taking any more dolhdrenc, and knowing how close they all were, they'd soon make amends.

Lia had desperately wanted to go and check out the set-up for the Lunar Fayre (as she did every year) and had dragged Maddy and Rhydian out of the house to go with her. She was happy to find Jana there. If the girl just gave in and let Lia give her her spare phone then she could have text or called her to see if she wanted to meet - she was still adamant that she could convince her, no matter how confusing Jana found the concept of technology.

But the point was that she was there, so the four of them took a walk around, Lia pointing at everything she liked the look of or found exciting... which was everything, of course. Rhydian was smiling to himself as she watched her gaze around at the lights that had been strung up. It wasn't quite dark enough to see them in their full light yet, but that didn't stop Lia from finding them pretty. Banners had been strung up too, and a majority of the stalls had been set up, but none of them had started selling yet.

Soon enough, Lia had dragged Maddy off somewhere, and Rhydian and Jana had stopped next to the stage to wait for them to return, jogging on the spot now and again to keep warm. Not long after they had stopped walking, the two of them had ended up in a little argument, "But they're not your parents!" Jana insisted.

"I'm under their roof!" Rhydian replied.

"Exactly - during an eclipse!" Jana countered, clearly not picking up on the metaphor and taking his words literally. He cracked a smile because of this, shaking his head. She continued, "You can't allow yourself to be locked away."

Suddenly, Lia ran up behind Rhydian, surprising him by jumping on his back. Thankfully, he had a sixth sense when it came to Lia and was always expecting the unexpected, so he managed to catch her legs when she wrapped them around his waist. He let out a laugh, and she giggled, "Whose being locked away?"

With the amount of energy pulsing through her, she could barely concentrate on anything else. Tiny sparks of adrenaline prickled her blood, she could actually feel it. The effects of the eclipse were insane, which made them sort of insane. Jana shook her head, "Nevermind."

Lia hopped off of Rhydian's back, and he grabbed her hand almost instantly, "Us, tonight." he confirmed, looking to his left where Maddy had also appeared, "And?" said the brunette.

"Can you not feel it?" Jana asked the girl with a wide smile, rocking back and forth on her heels. Maddy shrugged, then nodded, moving her legs a little to shake off some of the energy. With her response, Jana continued, "If there's one night when you truly understand what it means to be a wolfblood, tonight is it! If you don't experience that, you never get to experience who you truly are." She shrugged, hiding a smile before turning and walking away, leaving them to think about her words.
