The three of them bounded up the hill into the woodland, where they would most likely find Jana. The snow had been falling heavily for a couple of hours now, and everything that touched fresh air was covered in at least an inch of snow. Unfortunately, this only increased their excitement. They were all laughing and whooping at the freedom, and they soon ran into Jana, "You came!" she grinned.

"Of course we did!" Lia smiled back, spinning around to look up at the trees, watching the snowflakes fall from the sky, little dots of pure white against the dark sky.

"You didn't actually think that we'd get ourselves locked up, did you?" Rhydian asked the girl with a grin. Then he tipped his head back, letting out a howl. The girls smiled, howling too, laughing as they heard it echo. The next hour or so consisted of them all running about. They'd had a snowball fight (which soon turned a bit violent when they all ganged up on Rhydian), and played hide and seek which they soon got bored of because it was too easy to find one another with their senses.

The snowfall hadn't stopped, and neither had their adrenaline. Rhydian stood up on a log, "I'm the leader of the pack!" he shouted playfully with a snarl. Jana grinned, "Not if we have anything to do with it!"

She darted forward, but he easily fought her off, elatedly pushing her down into the snow, causing her to squeal at the shock of the cold. They all laughed, and while he was distracted, Maddy had a go. She managed to jump on him, knocking him back a little, but she too had the same fate as Jana. Both of the girls in the snow were soon laughing and rolling around, making snow angels, acting like they didn't have a care in the world.

Lia's eyes flickered over to Rhydian, and a smirk grew on her face when she sensed the race of his heart. He was genuinely afraid of her. Trying to hide her amusement, she took a step forward, nearly losing it when he took a step back. She slipped up and cracked a smile, and that's when his attitude changed, "That was a mistake, petal."

Her eyes widened, and she turned and ran, soon hearing his footsteps pounding after her. She let out a scream, the adrenaline pulsing through her veins making her scared and causing her legs to move faster. But even so, the smile never left her face. He sprinted after her, both of them running deeper and deeper into the woods, Maddy and Jana's laughter now distant, even with their wolfblood hearing.

She turned her head a little, never losing her pace, but squealed in fright when she saw that he was close behind her. This caused her to get distracted, and she slipped, not very gracefully rolling down the little snow-covered hill in front of her. She landed at the bottom of the slope on her side, completely still. And, soon enough, she heard Rhydian's panicked footsteps come chasing after her. Soon, he was by her side, grabbing her arm and shaking her, saying her name over and over.

She could not contain her laughter anymore and rolled onto her back in fits of it. He grumbled and shoved her arm playfully, covering his face with his hands as he caught his breath. He mumbled curses to himself as she continued to laugh, pointing at him through tears and saying between laughs, "Your face!"

He dropped his hands and opened his eyes, finding himself smiling as he looked down at the carefree girl in front of him. Her laughter died down when she felt his hand slip into hers, and after catching her breath and wiping her eyes, she said a broken, "Hey."

He chuckled, "Hi."

A grin grew on her face, and he knew this was the grin she wore when she was about to do something mischievous. And, rightly, she did. She pulled his hand, causing him to fall forward, on top of her. He managed to put his free hand out to support himself so that he didn't fully land on her. He met her eyes, which sparkled with whimsicality, and she giggled. He rolled his eyes with a smile, lowering himself onto his forearms before pressing his lips to hers. She hummed, smiling against the softness of his lips before wrapping her arms around his neck, and pulling him closer.
