Bad Reputation: A Bad Batch Fanfiction Story

"Morning." You say to Tech and Echo. "Good morning, Y/N." They respond. "Several systems are glitching. We got hit pretty hard back there." Echo says. "Well the ship-wide diagnostic report indicated no systems were compromised." Tech responds. You feel a jolt as the ship starts beeping. Hunter runs into the cockpit. "I'd say that's pretty critical, Tech." He says. "We need to land immediately!" Echo says. You and Omega run over to Wrecker and strap into the seats. "Get ready for your first crash landing." Wrecker says. The ship starts to descend rapidly. "We're gonna die, we're gonna die, we're gonna- be fine! We're gonna be fine." Wrecker says, noticing Omega's panicked expression. The ship crashes and you close your eyes. We'll be fine. You think. The ship scrapes against the ground and the ship jolts. The ship finally stops and Hunter gets up and comes over to you and Omega. "You guys okay?" He asks. You nod. Tech goes outside the ship with his helmet on and inspects the Marauder. "I think we're going to be here for a while..." He says.

You, Omega, and Echo play cards for a while and bet on snacks. "Yes!" Omega says as she places a winning card on the table, collecting the snacks in the center. "Come on..." Echo says. "I was just about to win." Tech calls Echo outside and you and Omega play another round. "I like it here." Omega says. You nod. "Yeah, it's pretty nice." She smiles. "I'm a clone, just like Hunter and all of them." She says. You can feel yourself getting jealous. "Yeah..." Suddenly, you hear a blaster being fired and a shout from Tech. Hunter goes out there to help. You all wait a while for him to come back. "Where is he?" Omega says. "We need to go after him." You say. You all get oxygen masks and go outside. You find Hunter with his mask off, unconscious. "Dad!" You say. You put on his mask and notice the creature. Omega grabs his blaster. "Omega, no!" You say. She runs after the monster and you chase her. She shoots it once she sees it. Hunter wakes up and sees her, smiling. "I helped too, you know..." You mutter. You go back inside and go to your room. 

Hunter knocks on your door and comes inside. "Hey, kid." He says. "Omega keeps saving you, helping you, and doing everything perfectly." You say. "It's like she's trying to be me." You continue. Hunter sits on your bed next to you. "Hey... it's okay. You're my kid, Y/N. Omega isn't." He assures you. "I'm not a jedi like Mom, and I'm not modified like you all..." You continue. "Am I just... nothing?" You sniffle. "Y/N. Just because you aren't a clone doesn't mean you aren't important. Wrecker, Echo, Tech, Crosshair... Omega..." He says. "We're clones. You're different." You sigh. "I guess..." Hunter gets up and goes to the door. "You've had a long day. Get some sleep." He says, turning off the light in your room. You lay on the bed wishing you could be like the rest of the Bad Batch...

"She's dangerous."

"She's my child, Echo." 

"Her mother is a jedi. She could be force sensitive, which would make us more of a target."

"So we can have Omega but not Y/N? I'd choose your next words carefully."

"I wasn't trying to say anything. I just... things are dangerous." 

You hear everyone talking about you. I'm just going to make things harder... You think. Everyone seems to think that you'll cause bad things.
