After you wake up in the room on Kaya's ship, you feel very unrested. You were tossing and turning all night thinking about Hunter and the rest of the squad. You go find Kaya in the cockpit.
"Morning." Kaya says.
"Morning..." You say, yawning.
She sips her caf and looks out the window.
"Kaya... I don't know where to find my mother. We can't go to the Jedi temples. What if she's... gone?" You say.
She sighs. "Look, Y/N. We'll never have a chance of finding her if you get all pessimistic. At least, that's what I've learned."
"Are you looking for someone?" You ask.
"It was... a long time ago." Kaya says, not making eye contact.
You can tell that she's lost someone. Someone important.
"Let me see if I can find some records on her." She says.
You watch her on her datapad. "Dammit. I need an Imperial code." She says.
If only Tech was here... You think.
"We need to steal some codes." You say.
She looks at you, surprised. "I know you clones go on all those risky missions, but I don't. Sorry, kid." Kaya says.
"I know how to do this. Please?" You ask, looking up at her with begging eyes.
She sighs. "Dank farrik. Fine."
"I've learned a thing or two from the squad. We got this." You say, smiling. After landing on an Imperial planet, you sneak through the base to the main building. Kaya tries to go in through a side door, but you stop her.
"Wait. There are usually Imperials behind these doors. We need to enter from above." You say, pointing to the vents.
When there aren't any clones around, you quickly scale the building walls and quietly unscrew one of the panels that leads inside the vents. Kaya follows. You reach a dead end. The only way out is down, but that will be loud.
"What's wrong?" Kaya asks, whispering.
"We're going to have to go down. Be prepared to fight." You say softly.
You hit the vent with your elbow forcefully. It drops with a loud clang. You hop down, Kaya doing the same after you.
"Intruders!" A clone shouts. He calls for backup, and more soldiers arrive. You and Kaya duck behind a wall, avoiding their blaster shots. You reach for your stun gun (after a few days of convincing, Hunter let you have one). You hit one of the clones and he slumps to the ground. Kaya reaches for a regular blaster.
"No." You say sternly, making her lower her blaster.
You continue to stun each of the clones until the hallway is silent.
"Come on. More will come after us." You say, running to the main control deck.Kaya uses her blaster to force the door to the main panel room open. You stun the guards. You both search for the codes.
"Got it!" You say quietly, holding it up.
"Not so fast." A voice says.
You look back. The Imperial man's face looks familiar somehow. You back away from him.
"Oh, you're not going anywhere." He says, injecting you with a needle.
As your vision starts to fade, you see Kaya watching you and standing next to the man.
"Thank you, miss. You'll be rewarded handsomely." You hear as your vision goes black.
