Since Caleb has flown this ship before, he's the one who lands it back on Kaller.
"Sorry we couldn't help, kid." Hunter apologizes.
Caleb looks up at him. "It's alright. I was foolish. I should've listened to Master Kenobi."
"You said you needed to talk to me about something?" You say to Caleb.
He nods. "Yes, but first, I need to apologize to Kasmir."
"Should the rest of us go back to our ship?" Omega asks. "You could meet us there."
"That's fine. I shouldn't be too long. I don't think Kasmir will want to talk to me for a while after I stole his ship." Caleb responds.
Everyone exits the ship. Caleb walks a different way than the rest of you to get to Kasmir. It's a short walk to the ship. Tech opens the door that is the entrance to the Marauder. You're the first one to walk up the stairs. Gonky greets all of you with a beep.
"Are we sure Cid will still pay us? We've delayed our mission a lot." Crosshair mentions.
"I'm not sure. She's been... off lately." Echo says.
"Off?" Omega repeats.
"Yeah." Hunter says. "She hasn't been very grateful for what we've done."
"It's not like she's the one doing all these missions." Wrecker adds.
"That is true." Tech states. "However, we have not been able to complete some of our missions recently. She may be frustrated with us for that reason."
Caleb comes on the ship.
"How was it?" You ask.
He looks at the floor. "Well, he yelled at me for a while. Eventually he forgave me. I'm lucky. I thought he would kill me."
"He wouldn't have killed you no matter what you did. You're a kid, like me." You respond.
"You'd be surprised. A lot of people have tried to kill me." He says grimly.
"I want to talk to both of you." Caleb says to you and Dara.
"We can go to my room." You offer.
"That works." He replies.
Dara and Caleb follow you to your room. You sit on your bed. Caleb sits on the floor while Dara remains standing.
"Honestly, I don't have a lot of information on Order 66. I only experienced part of it. I think I might know someone who would have more information." Caleb explains.
"Who?" Dara asks.
"I have a feeling she won't be easy to find." He begins. "Her name is Ahsoka Tano."
"Ahsoka? But she was expelled from the Order..." Dara says.
Caleb nods. "She was, but I heard that she came back to help the 501st for a while."
"We could talk to Captain Rex. I bet he'd have information on where she is." You suggest.
"Hunter will never agree to that. As much as I would like to know more about Order 66 and what happened, it would be safer to do research on our own. Tech could hack into some files and read about what happened." Dara says.
Caleb looks her in the eye. "You won't find out anything useful. Trust me, I've tried. If you want to know how to stop the Empire, this is the way to do it."
"I'll talk with him about it. I can't guarantee we'll be able to." Dara warns him.
"I would do it myself, but I'm going to work with Kasmir. I need to lie low for a bit. You all are better about escaping from the Empire than I am." Caleb explains.
"Thank you for the information, Caleb. Truly. I want to find out what the Empire's true plans are." You say.
"Of course. Thanks for helping me. I have a feeling we'll see each other again someday." He responds.
You both stand up and you give him a hug.
"One more thing." Caleb says.
"Yeah?" You reply.
"Trust in the Force." He says.
"Bye, everyone. Thank you for everything." Caleb says, exiting the ship.
"Bye!" You and Omega say.
"Finally. We can do our mission." Crosshair sighs.
"What was that about?" Hunter asks.
Dara hesitates. "I'll talk to you about it later."
"We should get moving if we want to do this mission. It's getting late." Omega says.
As everyone starts to put their gear on, a hologram of Cid appears on the ship's panel.
"You boys were supposed to be here hours ago. What's the holdup?" Cid asks.
You can sense her frustration.
"We were held up by a... situation." Wrecker says vaguely.
"No more excuses. This has happened more and more recently. What's going on with all of you? Aren't you supposed to be the 100% mission success rate squad?" Cid responds.
"We haven't been on this planet before. We-" Omega begins.
"This is one of the easiest missions I've given you. A supply run. You know what? Forget the mission. Just come back." Cid interrupts.
Before anybody can speak anymore, the hologram disappears.
"Kriff." You hear Hunter mutter.
"What now?" You ask.
"She won't pay us now. We need to go back." Echo says firmly.
Tech starts the ship and begins to fly off world. Everyone is silent.
Hunter looks frustrated. He goes into his room, Dara following him. You wait outside the door and listen to what they say.
"I knew this was a mistake!" Hunter says, raising his voice.
"What was a mistake?" Dara responds.
"Letting Y/N do Jedi training! It's complicating things, now we have to help all these Jedi, she's even more of a target of the Empire, just... everything about it is dangerous!" Hunter yells.
"We knew it would be like this from the start." Dara says calmly.
"I... I can't lose her." Hunter says, his voice breaking.
"This training is helping her protect herself more. We won't lose her." Dara reassures him.
"I hope that's the case." Hunter sighs.
"Hunter, you need to trust her. You need to believe that she can protect herself." Dara says.
"I do trust her. I just... worry." Hunter admits.
"I know, love. I know. I need to talk to you about something else, though."
"What is it?"
"Caleb told Y/N and I that we need to find someone named Ahsoka Tano. I knew her during my time in the Order. She's trustworthy, and very skilled."
"No, no, no. We can't."
"Hunter, please give it a chance. She has information about the Empire. Information we can't find on our own."
"We can't stop the Empire by ourselves, Dara."
"I know we can't, but there are rebellions starting. Groups that are collecting information on the Empire and using it to figure out a plan to stop them."
"We're mercenaries, Dara. We aren't part of a rebellion."
"We have the ability to do something good for the galaxy. Please, let's just try to find her."
"Alright. We'll try."
You can hear Hunter and Dara about to exit Hunter's room, so you run to your room.
Dara walks into your room and closes the door.
"I could sense that you were outside our door, listening." Dara states.
You avoid eye contact with her. "I'm sorry."
"It's alright. I would've done the same thing." She says.
You hug her and don't let go.
"We'll get this figured out, Y/N. I promise." Dara tells you, hugging you tightly.
"Really?" You respond.
"Yes. We just need to trust in the Force, just like Caleb said."
"I will." You say confidently.
