Bad Reputation: A Bad Batch Fanfiction Story

Some Imperial officers show you to your new room. They give you a set of clothes that are similar to the uniforms the clones wear. You put them on. You think of your mother, but only thoughts of hatred cross your mind.

You hear a knock on your door. You open it and see two clones standing there.
"Y/N? Come with us." One of them says.
You follow them to Doctor Hemlock's laboratory.
"Ah, Y/N." Doctor Hemlock says.
He gestures towards one of the medical tables.
"We need to do a few more experiments." He says.
You forcefully grab one of the clone's blasters and  point it at Hemlock.
"No... experiments." You say. He holds his hands in the air.
"It would just be to test your abilities! Please, I promise I don't mean any harm." He says.
You lower the blaster.
"Don't get in my way. I'm finding my mother and I will carry out my orders." You say, getting on the table.
"Understood." He says, injecting you with another syringe.

After Hemlock takes some vitals, he sends you to training with the other clones. You hear the other clones whispering, clearly about you.
"Hey, kid." One of the clones says, approaching you. He inspects you.
"Wait... you don't look fully like a clone. Are you... a clone's daughter?" He continues.
"What's it to you?" You say, moving past him.
He catches up to you. "I'm just wondering what makes you so special."
"I don't need to explain what makes me so special. You're just another reg." You say.

For the next few hours, you practice skills with your stun gun by hitting targets. A clone comes to you and tells you to speak with Hemlock. You walk to the lab.
"I want to find out if there is a way to test if you are Force sensitive." Hemlock says.
"Force sensitive? We're supposed to kill the Jedi." You say.
"You have heard of the Sith, no?" Hemlock says.
"What do you know about any of this?" You respond angrily.
Before you can say any more, an alarm sounds. Someone has invaded the Imperial base. You hear blaster shots outside the laboratory. The door opens. Hunter, Wrecker, Echo, Omega, and Tech enter. You notice that part of Tech's head is shaved with a bandage on it.
"Y/N!" Omega says happily.
She pauses to look at your Imperial clothes.
"Y-Y/N?" She repeats timidly.
Hemlock stands in the corner with his hands up.
"Get away from me." You say, pulling out your stun gun.
"Easy, Y/N." Hunter says, dropping his blaster. He steps forward towards you. Echo, Tech, and Wrecker look at you.
"C'mon kid. You know you aren't with the Empire." Hunter says.
You look at the ground, clenching your fist. You're filled with rage.
"Hunter. I suspect that the Empire gave her an inhibitor chip." Tech says.
"Then remove it!" Hunter yells.
"I see you have removed your inhibitor chips." Hemlock says.
"Don't move." Echo says to him.
Hunter continues to walk towards you. He places a hand on your shoulder.
"Y/N, this isn't you." He says, his voice breaking.
"I won't let the same thing happen to you." Wrecker says.
Echo points his blaster at Doctor Hemlock.
Tech walks over to you.
"Just relax. This won't hurt a bit." He says.
"I said get away!" You scream.
Hunter grabs your arms and holds you back. Tech puts a device on your head and injects you with some medicine from his med kit.
"N-No..." You say as your vision goes black.

"Is she awake?" You hear Hunter say as you wake up.
"Now she is." Tech says.
"Y/N! You're okay!" Omega says with excitement.
Wrecker comes over to you and hugs you.
"I'm glad you didn't hurt anybody like I did." Wrecker says.
"It's good to see you back... without that Imperial uniform on." Echo says, smiling.
You look at all of them.
"I'm sorry for running away. I just... I heard what you said about me. How I make things dangerous for you. I ran away because I felt like a burden, and I didn't want to hurt you. I just dragged you into this mess..." You explain as tears begin to appear in your eyes.
"You aren't a burden. You're not just a part of this squad. You're my daughter, and a part of this family. I love you. Don't ever forget that." Hunter says, hugging you.
"Dad..." You whisper, your tears falling onto him.
