It's early in the morning. The only people awake are you and Tech. Tech adjusts his goggles as he reads information on his datapad.
"Morning!" You say, looking over his shoulder to see his datapad.
"Good morning." He says, continuing to read the information.
"What is that?" You ask curiously.
"It is nothing about your mother if that is what you are concerned about." Tech responds.
"I just want to meet her. I want to ask her so many questions..." You say, sighing.
He pauses, thinking about what to say. "I am aware of this. We must be careful in our approach to find her." He responds.
"I just... I want her to be a part of this family too. I want her to be reunited with Dad and I." You say.
Tech looks up from his datapad. "I will do my best to find information. Even the information on Doctor Hemlock is very limited." He says.Echo walks over to you two.
"Hey, kid." He says.
"Morning, Echo." You respond, sulking.
"What's with her?" Echo asks, looking at Tech.
"I believe she is upset that I have not found more information on her mother." Tech states.
"You all just don't get it, do you?" You say, standing up.
You see Omega peek her head out from her room, watching you.
"I want my mom back! If it wasn't for the stupid Empire, she wouldn't have left!" You say.
Echo kneels down to your level.
"This situation is... complicated, Y/N." Echo starts.
He takes a deep breath in and closes his eyes for a second.
"I once knew a Jedi. All of us did. He loved a girl. It was hard for him to keep his relationship with her steady. The Jedi order makes love hard." He says.
Hunter and Wrecker walk over.
"What's going on?" Wrecker asks.
Hunter looks at you with a sad look on his face. He walks over to you.
"I heard what Echo was saying. He's right. Being a Jedi makes love complicated." Hunter says.
You avoid eye contact with him.
"Hey. Look at me." He continues. You look up at him.
"I won't lie to you, Y/N. It was hard. But one thing she taught me was that if you truly care about something, you'll work hard for it." Hunter says.
"If she cared... why did she leave? Why did you have me?" You say.
"We wanted you, Y/N. Your mom didn't give up on you. At the time, life was just... complicated. The Jedi order needed her, and I had to respect that. But don't you ever believe that she stopped loving you or me." Hunter says. You're in Cid's Cantina. She doesn't have any work for all of you. Tech listens to Phee as she retells one of her extravagant stories.
"Y/N. Hunter. I have found some information."
Tech says. He shows Hunter the datapad.
"This... is a report. It says here that she was recently spotted at an Imperial base." Hunter says.
"Which one?" You ask, eager to find out.
He shows you the information.
"This planet is in the Outer Rim, and it will be difficult to reach. It has a highly restricted airspace, and the surrounding area will be heavily guarded." Tech says.
"Please, Hunter?" You ask, looking up at Hunter.
"Of course, kid. Let's find her." Hunter says. You're on your way to the planet. You sit on the Marauder, fiddling with nearby objects. Omega walks over to you.
"Want to play Dejarik?" She says, gesturing to the board on top of Gonky.
You nod and you two begin to play.
Hunter sees you two and smiles.
Omega makes the last move and wins.
"Nice job, Omega." Hunter says.
She smiles. You can't help but to feel jealous.
"We'll be entering the airspace soon." Echo says.
"I have the transmitting codes ready." Tech reassures all of you."This is a restricted airspace. Transmit your clearance codes." An Imperial officer says over the ship's comms.
Tech presses a button and you hear a beep.
"How long is this going to take?" Wrecker asks.
"Not long." Tech responds.
"You're clear to enter." The officer says. Tech begins to make the Marauder descend.
You land in a forest area near the base. Everyone puts on their helmets, and Omega gets her bow.
"Where exactly is she?" Hunter asks.
"I am uncertain. We should be able to locate her if we access the central database inside." Tech says to him.You all sneak by one of the entrances. Hunter silently knocks one of the guards unconscious. Tech opens the door. You all navigate the hallways and continue until you see Imperial troopers up ahead.
"Y/N. Omega. Go back to the ship." Hunter says to you and Omega.
"But Dad-" You start.
"We can't risk you two getting captured again. Go." Hunter says.
You two begin to sneak back to the ship.
"Wait." You whisper to Omega.
She turns to you.
"We came all this way. What if she's here? We have to go back." You say.
"Alright. Let's do this." Omega says, nodding.**I promise there will be a new part soon! :))**
