After deciding to go back to meet up with the squad and see your mom, you and Omega continue through the base.

"Where did they go?" Omega asks. You both hide behind a door.

"I don't know. They're probably on the next floor. That's most likely where the cells are." You reply.

"Alright. Let's go then." Omega says.

You two carefully make your way to the end of the hallway towards the elevators. You stun the two guards outside of the elevators. You and Omega manage to move them out to the hidden corner of the hallway. You enter the elevator and press the button to go to the next floor. It seems like a long trip up. Before you and Omega can discuss what to do when the guards are outside of the elevator, the doors open. The troopers see you.

"Hey! Intruder!" One of them yells, grabbing you.
Another Imperial trooper tries to grab Omega. She slips past him and runs behind a pillar in the hallway. She quickly shoots the trooper holding you with her energy bow.
"We need to keep going!" Omega says.

You finally reach the area with the cells. There are too many of them to count, and there are multiple hallways filled with them. Omega shoots the control panel for the door to force it to close behind you so the troopers can't reach you.

"Hunter!" Omega calls out. There's no answer.
"You go forward. I'll go right." You say, starting to run down the right hall.

As you run, you see the faces of innocent looking people. You see a mother and a child together in a cell, and it breaks your heart to see it. You see the squad up ahead.

"Omega! I found them!" You shout, hoping she hears you.
You run up to the squad.
"Dad!" You say.
"Wait... Y/N? I told you to-" Hunter begins.
You turn to a nearby cell and see your mother. She's beautiful. Your skin is the color of your mother's darker skin tone and Hunter's. Her eyes are a perfect hazel color, just like yours. Her wavy brown hair goes all the way down to her mid back.
"M-Mom?" You say hesitantly, taking off your helmet.
"Oh, Y/N... Hunter... Is it really you?" Your mother says, tearing up.
"We are trying to open the cell door. This should not take long." Tech says.
"I knew I sensed you coming here..." She says.

Tech and Echo open the door. You hear Omega coming down the hallway. You hug your mother tightly. Tears of joy and exhaustion stream down your face.
"My sweet Y/N... I have waited so long for this day." Your mother's soothing voice whispers. You step away from her and see Hunter slowly walk over, taking off his helmet.
"Dara..." Hunter says. He starts to cry. You rarely see Hunter crying. He walks closer to her and kisses her.
"Why did you have to leave?" You ask.
"I promise I will explain. We need to get out of here first. Follow me." She responds.

All of you cram into the elevator. You and Omega (being the smallest) are pushed into the small corners of the elevator.
"Wrecker..." You say, your voice muffled.
"Sorry..." Wrecker says, trying to move away from you.
The elevator doors open. Your mother is in front. You watch her move her hand towards the troopers. Suddenly, the guards are knocked back. The rest of you use your blasters and Omega uses her bow to blast some of them. Your mother ignites a blue lightsaber. It's just like the one you painted on your helmet. She slashes some of the troopers with her lightsaber.
She's fearless... You think.

All of you sprint to the ship. Tech quickly gets the ship out of the way of the base. All of you take off your helmets and stop to breathe. Your mother walks over to you and Hunter.
"It's time I fully explain why I left. To both of you." She says, looking to you and Hunter.
She sighs and closes her eyes for a moment.

"I was a Jedi Knight during the Clone War as I'm sure Hunter has told you. I had to be gone a lot because of my missions. It made things with you two complicated, and I'm sorry. The day that I left... Master Windu informed me that there was supposedly some sort of traitor amongst the Jedi. There had been multiple strange incidents that happened at the Jedi temple, too. I was told that it was urgent and that he needed me to investigate. I got to the temple and saw that a Sith lord had hurt many people. It wasn't safe for me to come back because of the risk." She explains.
"I wanted to be back with all of you so much. I wanted to drop everything to be here again. I was captured by the Empire as soon as Order 66 began. It was too dangerous for me to try and escape to find you. I'm so sorry..." Your mother continues, starting to sob.
"I'm sorry we could find you sooner. What matters now is that you're here with us. I love you." Hunter says, putting his arm around her shoulder.
"I love you too, Hunter. You too, Y/N. I never stopped loving you." Your mother says.
You sit down next to her and lean on her other shoulder.
"Please don't leave again..." You say.
"I won't. I promise." She says, kissing your forehead.

She gets up and looks at everyone else.
"Tech, Echo, Wrecker... Wait, where is Crosshair?" She asks.
"He's with the Empire now." Wrecker says sadly.
"I see. Well, I am still very happy to see all of you." Your mother replies.
You walk over to Hunter and hug him.

"Thank you, Dad." You say.
"No..." He starts.
"Thank you, Y/N. You were brave, and without you, I wouldn't have thought of doing this. You had hope that she was alive, and that is a powerful skill that nobody can really teach you." Hunter says.

"I'm sorry you had to risk your lives for me." Your mother says.
"The risk was worth it for the reward." Hunter says, smiling.
