"Mom, can I go see Lucian?" You ask.
"You need to stay here and rest. I'll stay with you." Dara replies, sitting down next to you.
"My arm is fine, really. It's not like I'll be using it." You say.
Dara stands up again to look at your arm. She takes off your bandages and looks at it closely.
"I suppose you can go see him for a little bit. Just... don't tell your father." Dara sighs.
"Thank you! I won't." You smile, giving her a nod.
You put on a jacket over your shirt.
"How will I get in there without Dad noticing?" You ask.
"He can't sense your presence." She responds.
You raise your eyebrow. "Mom, he has enhanced senses."
"Right. I'll go get him for you and bring him back to the ship. I'll figure out an excuse for why I'm there." Dara explains.
"Good luck..." You say.

You wait for a few minutes by the door. It opens.
"Y/N? Why aren't you in the cantina?" Lucian asks, concerned.
"Just... tired." You give him a forced smile.
"I don't have to be a Jedi to sense that what you said is a lie." He states.
"I can't tell you, Lucian. I'm sorry." You apologize.
"Why not?" He pries, coming close to you.
"I just can't!" You raise your voice a little.
Lucian takes one of your hands and your fingers interlace.
"Please, Y/N. Tell me what's going on. I won't tell a soul." He says softly.
You sit down by the door. Lucian sits close to you, still holding your hand. He leans his head on your shoulder; your bad shoulder.
"Not that shoulder!" You wince. "I mean-"
He quickly takes his head off your shoulder. "Were you injured?"
"I'm not supposed to tell you this..." You begin, taking off your jacket. "But yes, I was shot."
"Shot?!" He repeats too loudly, looking at your bandages. You can't exactly blame him for his reaction, though. You would've reacted the same.
You put your hands over his mouth and make a shh sound. "The entire planet is going to hear you!"
He puts his hands on your arms and pulls them down. "Tell me what happened. All of it."

"We were on a star destroyer gathering intel." You begin.
"A star destroyer?" He says, his eyes widening.
You nod. "We were in the main control center waiting for the data to download when Darth Vader entered."
"Who?" Lucian responds.
You sigh. "A Sith lord. My mom and I had to fight him. He was so powerful. He was aggressive but also graceful. I had never been taught about fighting styles like his before."
"Why didn't you run away?" He asks.
"There was no way we could. We had to fight him." You state.
"How did you get hurt? Who shot you?" He continues.
"One of the Imperial troopers shot me with a blaster similar to the ones my dad and uncles use." You explain.
"You could've been seriously injured..." Lucian mutters. "I'm so happy you're okay."
"My dad was really upset." You say.
Lucian looks into your eyes. "Do you think all of this will ever end? Everything with the Empire?"
You hesitate before speaking. "Yeah. It will."
"It's been putting a lot of stress on my family, especially since we own a family business. We aren't able to sell in as many places as we used to be able to. All of these pointless regulations from the Empire." Lucian's expression begins to turn sad.
"You- I mean, we will get it figured out. Together." You say, taking his hands in yours.
Lucian leans in to kiss you.
"I should probably get going." He says. "I think I can hear them walking towards the ship."
"Bye, Lucian." You smile.
"Bye, Y/N. Don't get hurt on your next mission." He smiles back.
"I'll sure try..." You sigh.

Hunter comes onto the ship first. "Why are you sitting next to the door?"
"I was fixing Gonky. Isn't that right, Gonky?" You say, hinting for Gonky to play along.
Hunter looks suspicious, but shrugs it off.
"Can I go on the next mission?" You ask.
Echo and Tech look at each other.
"Since your shoulder was not injured severely and you have had time to heal, I would say yes." Tech confirms.
"Yeah. I agree." Echo adds. "Does it still hurt?"
"Just a little. I really think I'll be fine, though." You reassure everyone.
"Yay!" Omega exclaims. "I was hoping you could come with us."
Tech sits down and looks at the star map. "I have never heard of Plateau City before, but I know it's on Kaller."
"What's Plateau City?" You ask.
"It's where we're doing a supply run." Echo explains.
You head back to your room. In a little bit, Omega comes in. She closes the door.
"What were you actually doing while we were gone?" She asks.
"Lucian came onto the ship. I told him about the mission." You say quietly, making sure there's not a chance that someone hears you.
"You told him about the mission? But-" Omega starts.
"I know, I know." You sigh. "He leaned on my shoulder, my bad shoulder, and-"
Omega giggles.
"Shh! The point is, he's not going to tell anybody. And you won't tell anybody that I told him." You whisper.

You all arrive in Plateau City in a little while. You exit the ship. Everyone is wearing their gear. Your lightsaber is on your belt, hidden by your cloak.
"You sure you can keep up?" Crosshair laughs.
"Shut up, Crosshair..." You mumble. "I can do this."
You haven't even left the area where people land their ships at yet. It's large, and it takes up a fair amount of the city. You hear what sounds like someone searching through a ship; a ship that isn't theirs. Hunter points to the direction where the sound is and everyone follows him over to it. You look through the door of the ship. To your surprise, it isn't an adult who is looking through the ship. It's a child. Someone your age. Dara walks closer to the child.
"C-Caleb?" She gasps.
The boy turns around. "Dara?"
You recognize his brown hair and teal-blue eyes from when you saw him jump across the river on your last mission on Kaller. It's none other than the padawan Caleb Dume.
