Warnings: Some description of a blaster injury.

Darth Vader looks at you and your mother. "I thought all the Jedi were killed. It looks like I'll have to finish the job myself."
He holds his lightsaber close to your neck.
This is it. You think. This is how I'll die.
"Wait. General Skywalker, please. It's Clone Force 99. From the mission on Skako Minor." Hunter pleads. "Remember?"
Echo takes off his helmet and looks at him, trying to remind him.
"There is no General Skywalker." Darth Vader states.
"You're wrong." You say boldly. "My father is telling the truth."
You ignite your lightsaber, steeling yourself for a hard fight.
"Y/N, no." Dara says sternly.
"We can't escape unless one of us fights him." You whisper.
"If you're fighting him, I'll fight with you." She whispers back.
"I can hear your whispers. Don't think this will be easy." Darth Vader warns.
"Oh, we know." You say.
He moves his lightsaber away from your neck and gets in a position to duel.
"Go. Your weapons won't do anything here." Dara tells the rest of the squad.
"I love you." Hunter says.
"We love you too." Dara responds.
The rest of the squad runs back to the ship.

You nearly collapse as your lightsabers clash due to the incredible strength of Darth Vader. Dara helps you fend him off. You take a step back. In the blink of an eye, he attacks again, this time aiming for your right shoulder. You're able to quickly dodge to the left to avoid it.
"Remember who you are! You saved Echo!" You shout.
"It won't work, Y/N! It's no use!" Dara says.
You decide that attacking would be too risky. Your only option is to defend yourself and your mother. You can tell how powerful Darth Vader is. It hasn't been that long since Order 66 and the march on the Jedi Temple, and even with Darth Vader's awful physical condition, he's still very strong. He attacks even more aggressively this time, but he still has so much control over his movements. He sweeps low with his lightsaber. You and your mother jump back just in time before it cuts your legs.
"You will never win. Join me!" Darth Vader says.
"Never." You respond.
Your lightsabers continue to clash. Dara has taught you about the different fighting styles of the Jedi and Sith, but you've never seen anything like this before. It seems to be a combination of all the styles, but more aggressive. He uses the Force to throw Dara to the other side of the hallway.
"Mom!" You shout.
Before you can go rescue her, Darth Vader walks closer to you. He Force-chokes you. You drop your lightsaber. Your heartbeat gets faster and faster. It's incredibly painful. You feel as though you're about to go unconscious. Just before you are about to, your mother gets up and approaches Darth Vader from the back. He drops you and turns around to fight her.

You try to go help your mother fight him, but he keeps pushing you back.
"Go, Y/N!" Dara shouts.
"I won't leave you!" You shout back.
You see a squadron of Imperial troopers coming after you and Dara. Darth Vader steps away from your mother and stands and watches as the troopers chase after you.
"We will meet again, Y/N." Darth Vader says.
The words he says sends chills throughout your body. Dara catches up with you and you continue running away from the troopers. Tears stream down your face. You're so exhausted and afraid. You just want to be reunited with the rest of the squad. The troopers begin to shoot at you. You turn around and deflect their blaster fires. One of them hits you in the shoulder on the side you hold your lightsaber. You cry out in agony. You've never felt pain like this before. The wound itself isn't very deep, but it stings.
"We're almost to the ship. Hang in there." Dara says.
She lets you run up ahead as she deflects the blaster fires. A feeling of relief washes over you as you see the back of the ship open. Everyone in the squad exits and starts stunning the Imperial troopers. After all of them are stunned, you make your way to the ship.

Tech closes the door and takes off. The Marauder jumps into hyperspace. Hunter hugs you and Dara.
"I was so worried. I wish I could've done more." He says, guilty.
You wince as he hugs you tighter. He steps back and looks at you.
"You were shot? Who did this?" Hunter asks.
"I- I don't know. There were a bunch of clones in the same uniforms. It's not like I could tell who it was." You explain.
"Echo. Tech. Can you help Y/N? She was shot." Hunter says.
"Sure thing. C'mon, kid." Echo says.
Omega follows you as you walk over to Echo.
"I won't hug you, but I'm glad you're okay." Omega says, giving you a smile.
Echo looks at your arm. "Tech, come take a look at this."
Tech walks over. "The burn isn't too deep or severe. This looks like a blaster wound from a weapon similar to ours."
Tech gets a bottle of some chemical that you've seen him treat other wounds with. "This is going to hurt."
You wince as he pours some of the chemical on the wound.
"That's the worst part. You're during great." Echo says.
Echo puts an ointment on the area and starts wrapping it with a bandage. "You're lucky, kid. You could've gotten hit in a much worse place. I know how it feels to be injured, though. It's not fun."
Echo and Tech finish making sure your wound is treated.
"So... you actually fought him, huh?" Crosshair mutters.
"Want me to tell you about it?" You ask.
"How is she so enthusiastic about this?" He asks. "Alright. Go ahead."

You finish telling Crosshair and the rest of the squad about how you and Dara fought Darth Vader. Crosshair stands there in shock.
"And you just left? You didn't keep fighting him?" He says.
"I told you. He said: 'We will meet again, Y/N', and the Imperial troopers started chasing after us and shooting at us." You say, showing him your shoulder.
"I'm just glad you're alright." Wrecker smiles.
"Mom, can we go talk for a minute?" You ask.
She nods and follows you into your room.
"Do... do you think what Darth Vader was saying was true? That we'll meet again?" You ask.
Dara pauses and sighs. "If I'm being honest, Y/N, I'm not sure. We won't have to worry about that for a while, though. I promise we'll stay clear of him."
You hug her. "Thank you for always being there for me. For training me, for just being an amazing mom."
"Of course, Y/N." Dara responds, smiling.
