I'll Never Forget You

OVER MY HEAD

I woke up slowly and found myself wrapped in Klaus's arm, his face was buried in my neck. I turned gently to face him as he opened his eyes sleepily, "Hello love." He said kissing me tenderly.

I smiled and pulled him on top of me, he didn't miss a beat and began kissing me making his way down my neck toward my breasts.

"Nik are you....." Rebekah came walking in surprised
"Well I see you two have made up." She laughed.

Klaus slid off from on top of me. "This better be important sister." As he glared at her.

It can wait , carry on ." She grinned.

I had the covers pulled up and scoffed. "I think she did that on purpose."

"My sister does have a certain way about her." He chuckled.

"I better get back to my room ." I stated as I kissed him one more time.
"Caroline...." He paused, "We need to talk." His tone was serious.
"Ok...Like now? I asked
"No love, once your dressed and settled." He suggested.

I nodded then nervously walked out of his room. I tip toed down the hall trying to be as quiet as possible.

"Where are you off to or shall I ask where are you coming from." Kol joked. I gave Kol a sarcastic smile and kept walking.

"You know Caroline, Nik might have really hurt me if you didn't stop him."

"Im sorry Kol, it just came out on accident and I had a little to much to drink." I winced.

"I understand, I know my brother would never kill me but the quarreling is never pretty."

"You're telling me... I dont think I ever want to see that again." Squirming.

" We're Mikaelsons its what we do," He grinned as he walked away.

I went into my room and showered and got ready, I put on the necklace he bought me and headed downstairs. Hayley and Rebekah were in the lounge room talking.

"Well aren't you glowing." Hayley kidded

I glanced over at Rebekah, "So much for being discrete." I said.

"It was to good to keep all to myself." She replied pouring herself a drink.

"Is everyone gone? I asked

"My brothers went with Marcel and the wolves to find out more information on those attacks in the outskirts." She explained as she took a drink.

"Its not one of our packs, if anything its an outsider." Hayley chimed in.

A knock at the front door came and we all stood quietly as we looked over. Rebekah squinted with suspicion "We certainly aren't expecting company." She walked towards the door as we quickly followed behind. She opened the door and there was a note that read "Nik"

"Very few people call my brother Nik."Rebekah picked up the note and opened it "Meet me at Gillespie's tonight, come alone . Genevieve"

"That redheaded she devil." Rebekah began to pull out her phone and dial.

I listened in and heard Klaus answer annoyed. "Make it quick Rebekah we are in the middle of very important business."

"Your redheaded witch left you a love letter on the front porch."

"Rebekah I have no time for your games." He grew impatient.

"She wants you to meet her ..... alone." She grinned " Perhaps a reconciliation of some sorts." Glancing over at me enjoying this. She really liked to hit my nerves.

"Dont be ridiculous sister, I'll be home shortly." Klaus replied,

"What do you think she wants?" Hayley said worried.

"How the hell would I know Nik was the one fornicating with her." She turned to leave and left the note on the table next to the coat rack. Apart of me started to feel a little jealous but I knew Klaus wanted nothing to do with her.

Klaus and his brothers arrived home with Marcel and Josh. Hayley left the kitchen to ask what they had found out, I headed over with her to hear all that was going on.

"Any news?" Hayley asked nervously. She loved her people and was hoping it wasnt a wolf because she knew what the consequences would be.

"One of the wolves in the Bayou said they saw someone out in the woods, another werwolf but they've never seen them here before, someone new." Marcel replied.

Hayley grew worried, "I have to go talk to them." As she grabbed her jacket to head out. Klaus sped over to her blocking the door. "Not with my child, Marcel and I will go tomorrow and talk with their Alpha in that area."

"Those are my people out there Klaus." She said fiercely.

"Maybe she can go with." I suggested , walking over to Klaus grabbing ahold of his arm. "She can probably get information from them more willingly than if you two were to go by yourself."

He paused and looked at Marcel. "Fine..." he gave in.
Hayley smiled at me as I smiled back. "What are you gonna do about Genevieve?" I asked Klaus.

"Im going to have a little chat." Flashing his devilish grin.

"Can I join?"

"No if Genevieve finds out you're here with me she will use you as leverage against me. I will not allow that."

"Seriously??? I can take care of myself Klaus."

"Caroline please... I cannot destroy these witches if Im worried about you," Taking my hands into his.

I guess.." I said disappointed

"I'll be back before you know it." He kissed me on the cheek and headed out with Elijah and Marcel to go talk to the candle store owner about the attack on us the other day.

"Josh... come here." I flagged him over.

"Me?" He pointed

"You're name is Josh right" I replied in a sarcastic tone.

"Why do I have a feeling this will be a bad idea." He walked over timidly.

"Oh stop look, I need your help.. I cant take Hayley because shes pregnant, Rebekah will tell on me and I already got Kol in trouble."

"How do I fit into this again?" He said confused.

"I need you to go with me to spy on Klaus and Genevieve, I want to see what she wants." Looking at him sternly.

"And I dont wanna get killed." He responded.

"Pleeeease Josh!" We wont be in plain view, please I'll owe you one." He looked away then exhaled, "Ok Ok I'll go but if I die again... im coming back to haunt you from the other side." He joked.

We set up plan and everything was in motion, now we just had to wait till it was time to leave .
