Sofie was escorted to the front of the Mikaelson Mansion where Klaus's siblings and Hayley waited. She stood there all dirtied, disheveled like she had been running away.

Rebekah grabbed her by the hair "She's the witch who helped Mikael with Caroline!"

"Wait wait I have something to tell you please!" She pleaded.

Elijah waved his hand to signal to his sister to let her go "Speak, but know this if you are playing some sort of game.... It wont bode well for you." He adjusted his cufflinks on his sleeve.

Rebekah stepped back but her eyes stayed on Sophie. "I've been running and hiding from Mikael and the witches since the incident, but please you have to believe me it was never the intention to harm or kill Caroline."

"Can I just tear her head off and call it a day." Kol said walking toward her.

"Im not finished, its been 7 days since Carolines death, when I found out Mikael was going to kill her I had her drink a tea. It was a special tea with a spell to bring her back to life on the 7th day, enough time for everyone to believe she had died so she could be free."

Elijahs mouth dropped as did the families.

"She's suppose to wake up on the 7th day, I tried to get to you guys sooner but I was worried about Genevieve and Mikael. If they found out what I did they would kill me."

Everyone was stunned "You mean to tell me Caroline is alive?" Elijah answered.

Sophie nodded "But I didn't know about the baby till word got around after the services. If I would have known I would have saved the baby too along with her. Her spell wasn't made for the supernatural.. I'm sorry." She began to get emotional "I never wanted Caroline to get hurt."

"Elijah put his hands on his head then turned to Rebekah "Stay here with her, I'm going to find Niklaus." Elijah sped off inside to find Klaus standing over Hopes crib.

"Brother," He whispered trying to gather his thoughts to tell Klaus what he had just heard.

Klaus turned around "What is it." He asked seeing the look on Elijahs face.

He stood in the doorway thinking of how to tell his brother his wife could still be alive after everything they have endured this past week. "I'm going to tell you something, but you need to take it with a grain of salt."

Klaus was confused "Elijah pleeease my head hurts just say it."

"It's Caroline Niklaus, she may still be alive."

Klaus's eyes widened not believing what Elijah was saying.

"There is a witch that was with Caroline, this witch says she made Caroline a tea to drink with a certain spell to protect her if Mikael went through with his plan."

"Where is she..." Klaus replied low.

"Outside." Elijah told him.

Klaus vamp sped out and grabbed the witch by her throat "If you're lying strangulation will be the least of your worries." He released her as she fell to the floor coughing. "Bring her with us." He ordered then knelt down to Sophie "If Caroline does not wake I will throw you into the swamp to rot and be eaten alive ." He growled.

Everyone followed Klaus and loaded into two vehicles to head just down the way to the tomb where Caroline was placed.

When they pulled up to the area Elijah grabbed Klaus "Niklaus prepare yourself brother if what she is saying is a hoax."

Klaus just looked at Elijah and vamp sped off into the tomb before everyone else.

When he entered the area where Caroline rested the incasing she was in was open and she was nowhere to be found.
