My bridal party walked together to take pictures, Klaus actually smiled which definitely surprised me. I was on cloud 9, "You have no idea how amazing all of this is, its seriously my dream wedding." I giggled like a teenage girl.

They called us inside to the ballroom for the reception. We ate and laughed, there was music I looked around and thought about how lucky I really am in this very moment. It was time for toasts and Elijah and Elena were both going to speak.

Elena got up and faced Klaus and I champagne in hand. "Since we were little kids Caroline has dreamt about this day, she had it all planned from top to bottom." She smiled. "And now you are living it out, I am so happy that you have found someone who loves you , challenges you but most importantly will be there for you no matter what. You are my bestfriend , I love you Care. Klaus thank you for always having Carolines best interest at heart, who knew we would all end up here today like this. I know you will do whatever for her, cheers to you guys and a life full of love, happiness and opportunities to grow together.

I smiled at Elena as everyone sipped.

Elijah got up and took his glass in hand adjusting his button on his suit. "I remember a certain time centuries ago like it was yesterday we had a conversation about love being a vampires greatest weakness yet I have never seen you stronger than you are now Niklaus. You two were meant for each other. I dont think I have ever witnessed my brother happier than he has been with you Caroline. It is an honor to welcome you into our family, because family is power, love is power and you two now have both together. Klaus stood up which caught me off guard, I didn't think he was going to be speaking. "I wanted to quickly thank you all for attending and joining us on this special occasion, to my family I thank you for sticking by my side all this time despite our quarrels, and to my bride.... Caroline Elizabeth Mikaelson you are the light in the dark, the quiet in the chaos, a love that pours unto me like the deepest oceans." He kissed me softly.

"I love you." I told him as he sat back down pulling his chair closer to me. It was time to cut the cake and have our first dance as a newly married couple. We chose She is Love by Parachute. We walked out hand in hand as he pulled me slowly closer to him cheek to cheek. My heart wanted to burst with the joy I felt. We swayed back and forth slowly, his touch, his smell, his breath on my neck sent chills throughout my body.

"I feel like the luckiest girl alive right now." I whispered in his ear.

"I am the fortunate one, to be able to call you my better half." He spoke.

"Your equal." I looked at him making sure he understood that he was just as important.

After we finished our dance we did the bouquet toss Hayley caught it with the hugest smile. I looked over to Elijah and pointed "You're next." As he gave me a sly smile then looked back at Hayley.

Klaus made his way to the floor for the garter toss as I sat in the middle of the ballroom. Of course Marcel was whistling with the rest of the guys as Klaus stuck his hand up my dress then his head. My mom was having a heart attack I'm sure of it. I felt him pull the garter down with his teeth as he emerged with it and removed it from my leg. He shot the garter back and they all went for it. Josh was the lucky recipient flinging it around his finger.
