GLAD YOU CAME

Mom was flying in today and I was so nervous. I wanted her to see him through my eyes and not as the diabolical hybrid that he was in Mystic Falls. I woke up with Klaus gone, he didn't say he was going anywhere. I picked up my phone and dialed his number.

"Hello love." He answered

"Where are you? I woke up and you were gone."

"Well you didn't expect me to greet my future mother in law empty handed now did you?" He laughed slightly.

"Please dont say that in front of her ." Cringing at what my moms reaction would be to that.

"Why not? It has a nice ring to it dont you agree? Also she needs to understand that my intentions with her daughter are pure."

"And she will when shes sees how happy I am." Trying to convince him. "What time are you coming home?"

"Im just picking up something at the corner store, I'll be home shortly."

"Ok... I love you." I replied.

"I love you too Caroline."

I got dressed and texted my mom, she said she was boarding soon and would be here in 6 hours. I went downstairs and saw the butlers and help cleaning and preparing food.

"Hey Caroline." Hayley said.

"Hey is there another party going on or?"

She smiled, "No not exactly Klaus just wanted to have dinner with just you three so hes kicking us out for the day."

"No hes not , dont say that."

"Well not me but he is having Kol stay with Davina." She spilled.

I shook my head, "If my moms gonna meet one Mikaelson she's gonna meet them all." I dialed Kol right in front of her.

"Caroline... to what do I owe this pleasant surprise."

"Kol I want you and Davina here for dinner with my mom."

"No can do sweetheart, Nik wants me faraway."

"Kol Im asking you please, I want my mom to meet all of you ok. I'll talk to Klaus."

"Let me know how that conversation goes." He laughed.

"There its settled, I'll talk to Klaus about Kol, Hayley dont you find it weird that its been quiet lately, like with the witches the attacks and Mikael."

"No not really, I mean the baby isnt here yet, but the closer it gets the more I worry." She said.

"I cant imagine how scared you are but I know they wont let anything happen to her and I wont either. Have you guys came up with a name yet?"

She smiled and looked down at her belly "Hope, thats her name ."

"It's beautiful." I grinned.

After some time Klaus came back with Elijah.

"What florist did you compel?" Staring at the beautiful arrangement he got my mom.

He smiled ear to ear . "Dont be silly love."

I grabbed the flowers from him and admired them. "Pulling out the big guns I see... Hey can I talk to you?" Pulling him off to the side.

"What is it? He said leaning in closely.

"You told Kol he couldn't be here." I looked at him disappointed.

"Well I wouldn't say couldn't i just merely suggested that it would be much more beneficial if he wasn't." His tone cocky.
