I got dressed and kissed Klaus as I opened his door to leave.
"Must you go so soon." He teased pulling me back into him kissing me all over.
"If I dont want the peanut gallery chiming in, then yes I do." I laughed.
"You mean Rebekah and Kol." He replied as he submerged deeper into my neck. "I have a proposition for you."
"Oh yea?" I said intrigued.
"Stay here... with me Caroline, this can be our room."
I peered into his eyes and for once I felt like he was being himself. No paranoia, no anger, no mistrust. He deserved a real chance, a clean slate.
"Ok" I smiled. As scared as I was to do this with him, and open my heart to him every ounce of it was saying yes. I had to drown out those thoughts and follow my heart.
"Ill have the help move your things." Kissing my hand. "Then we celebrate." He grinned.
"Celebrate what?" I questioned
"You and I love, a feast fit for a king and queen."
"Dig me out one of your dresses you have tucked away." I winked as I walked out.
I made my way down the hall toward my room. I needed to tell Elena everything she was my best friend. I texted her and told her to get on her laptop so i can skype her.
"Hey Care." She appeared on my screen. My face filled with so much happiness, it felt great to see her.
"Elena!" I squealed, "I miss you!"
"I miss you too, how's it going over there?"
"I mean for it being the Mikaelsons not all that bad. There's some drama with the witches and Klaus's daughter."
"Wait what.... He has a daughter? Elena said stunned. Shoot I forgot to mention that I thought.
"Yea remember Hayley? Werewolf girl that Tyler brought around." I mumbled. "Its a long story Elena but apparently he can procreate..moving along, so there's this witch named Genevieve that is hounding Klaus for some old sacrifice ritual that Esther promised a long time ago in exchange for her children's immortality. First born will be sacrificed to the ancestors as an offering and transfer of power."
"Wow Care... that's insane are you going to come back home? She asked concerned.
"No why would I?
"Because it's dangerous and sounds like you could get hurt." She replied.
"No more than if I was in Mystic Falls." I exclaimed. "Look I didn't do this to talk about the drama only. I wanted to tell you about something else."
"Okay ..." she replied nervously.
"I decided to give Klaus a shot."
"Like as in a relationship?" She said astonished
"Yes Elena a relationship." I beamed hoping she'd be happy for me.
Just as she was about to respond Damon popped in , "He's not compelling you is he? He smirked.
Rolling my eyes laughing, "No Damon I'm not compelled."
"If you're happy Care then I'm happy." Even though her face said otherwise.
"I am happy Elena," I responded "For the first time I have someone that chose me, wanted me.
"Thats great Caroline I really am happy for you , you deserve happiness just if anything goes down, do not put yourself in a situation to where you can get hurt, promise me you will leave if it gets to bad." She cautioned.
