I'll Never Forget You

I couldn't sleep the night before because I knew the full moon was happening the next day. I was dreading this moment from the second I found out because I saw what Tyler had to go through.

Breakfast was served and Hayley was busy feeding Hope in her highchair. "Goodmorning Caroline."

"Goodmorning" I said half asleep with my hair tossed up in a messy bun.

"Did Klaus keep you up last night?" She teased.

I smirked "No but the thought of breaking every bone in my body did."

"Im not going to lie to you or sugar coat it Caroline, it is painful but once you're transitioned it is one of the most liberating experiences. The rush you feel all throughout your body out there in the wilderness is something I cant explain."

"I wish I could just skip to that part." Sitting the orange juice on the counter to pour myself a glass.

We were still trying to process Kol and Davinas death, I would miss his snarky comments and how he always tried to look after me. Then there's Davina who was so caring and loyal and fun. Klaus didn't want to attack till after my first transition to see if I had the gene or not.

He tiredly schemed with Elijah, Jackson and Marcel.... I barely saw him except for at night when we went to bed. "Klaus said he was going to take me to the Bayou with the other Crescents."

"I can go to Caroline if you're comfortable with that?" Hayley suggested.

"What about Hope?"

"Well everyone else will be here and Marcel will make sure his vampires arent out running around on a full moon." She replied.

"Ok yea I'd be ok with that."

Hayley smiled after my remark then continued to feed Hope.

I heard the front door open and it was Klaus and Elijah. "I dont care brother what it takes, once Caroline transitions we are striking shortly after."

"Yes Niklaus I'm very well aware the chaos thats about to commence." Elijah stated unamused by his brothers plotting. He knew Klaus would go on his tangents from time to time.

"Caroline and Hayley are to stay here, I will not have them caught in the crossfire."

"Um excuse me?" I walked out as Klaus stopped and looked my way. "I can't speak for Hayley but I'm going."

"You love are a brand new practicing witch. The last thing I need is you out in the open with powers you have yet to control."

"I can control it, Im going I don't care what you say." I hurried away pissed at him but was stopped by him vamp speeding in front.

"You will stay put even if I have to lock you in the chamber Caroline I will do it. I suggest you take into consideration staying inside the mansion.... Your choice." He turned and disappeared upstairs.

I began mocking him under my breath "Stay inside the mansion."

Which made Elijah smile slightly.

"What?" I told him.  "Do you want Hayley out there?"

"I'd prefer her not to be but she is well equipped to make her own decisions Caroline."

"Well go talk some sense into your brother for me because I'm going to help."

"I'll do my best." He replied and went over to Hayley.

Out from the library room Kai jolted out "You ready?" He asked.

"To do?" I said confused.

"To go all Carrie on their asses Caroline what else? Come on." He dragged me outside.
