Karl's POV 
I woke up at 6am in the morning. Probably the best time for him. He was sleeping in his bed all alone. He got up and found a note on the side of his desk. It read, 
Sorry I had to go to my house, Love you <3 
From, the hottest and the best boyfriend in the world. 
I rolled my eyes at the end and giggled. Even so I got up and went to my closet to change for the day.

It was a bit chilly since it was winter. He went downstairs to find his mom on the couch drinking some coffee. "Hey honey good morning" Evelyn said. "Hello mom good morning" Karl said. "Karl, today I was wondering if we can go to the mall to get presents since our family is coming for Christmas" Evelyn said. 
"Wait... there coming?!" Karl said. "Yea oh did I not tell you? I'm sorry" Evelyn said. "But mom I promised my friends I would be with them" Karl said. He went to the kitchen and got him a cup of coffee too. "But Karl they are your family" Evelyn said. 
"Aren't they homophobic?" Karl asked. "Well, maybe... possibly... I don't know but just in case can you not say you have a boyfriend" Evelyn said politely. "ok" Karl said. They both sat on the couch watching TV. 
Time skip 
Evelyn and Karl made it to the Mall. They got out of the car and started walking to the entrance. Once they made it inside they started looking for presents for their family. Karl didn't have a big family on his moms side. It was just his moms sister and moms brother, and their kids. Like he said not that much.
