Exhausting Nights Lead To Rewarding Outcomes

"Welcome back to Game Grumps." Dan mumbled in his sleep deprived state, being cut off by an obligatory "fuck!" from Arin.

Dan continued, realizing Arin was too preoccupied to realize they'd started recording again."We're almost done for the night, this is our last video, and I have to say, both my eyes are barely open. I'm pretty sure one's been closed for the last hour or so."

"I'm so fucking tired, dude. I just wanna finish this level and go to sleep right here." Arin gestured to the table, that only me, Dan and himself could see.

"Right there? On the table?" Dan prodded.

"Oh yeah. Bare ass just right there."

They both chuckled, quickly escalating to sleepy giggles.

I shook my head, staying quiet. Thankfully, I wasn't as tired as they were. That was a good thing because I was going to start editing after they finished this last episode.

Seeing as though I was back in town, I stopped by. It was nice to catch up with everyone. I even met a few new people. Arin was nice enough to offer me a job the minute Dan told him I was coming back. It might be temporary, it might not be.

"Arin, I really don't want to come back tomorrow and find a suspicious brown stain on this table. I swear to God."

"It'll definitely be brown. Maybe even a little white, if you know what I mean." He chuckled suggestively.

"Woah! Okay! Do you two need a room? I can just imagine all of our recording equipment goes flying as you HOIST this massive table over your shoulder and out the room."

"You're coming with me." He growled, busting into another fit of laughter.

I let a chuckle of my own escape, hoping it didn't get picked up by their mics.

"Our editor is sitting off in the corner, questioning her entire existence right now." Dan remarked, looking over at me with a lazy expression.

I nodded my head in agreement.

He smiled a little. "Thank you for putting up with us."

I gave a thumbs up.

The rest of the recording went about as well as you'd expect. Arin managed to get through enough of the game to get to a stopping point, at the expense of his last remaining brain cells.

"Next time on Game Grumps." Dan concluded quickly, before anymore dialog could come from the characters on screen.

A few more words were exchanged about needing sleep, before the camera was shut off.

They slowly stood up from their chairs. Turning off their respective equipment, mics, main lights and console. The room now only glowed softly from a few ceiling lights.

Arin stretching so hard his back popped, Dan walked over to the couch I was sitting on, flopping down like a bag of sand. He laid down, his feet pointing toward me.

"My eyes physically hurt." Arin groaned.

"I'm sure they do, you've been going at it for what? 6 hours?"

"Something like that. I lost track after a while."

I checked the time. "8 and a half hours, oh God."

"Oh my Gooood. I hope it was worth it."

"It definitely was. It's gonna be fun to edit."

"I think Dan's knocked out." Arin pointed in his general direction, his arm flopping back down.

Glancing over, I let a smile escape. "Dan, come on. You can't fall asleep there. You've still gotta go home."
