I woke up very disoriented, to the sound of someone frying something in a pan. I shot up in a panic, not recognizing where I was.

"Morning, Ellie!" Suzy called from the kitchen.

I jumped, looking over. "Oh! Good morning."

Groaning, I rubbed my face with my hands.

"How'd you sleep?"

I gave her a thumbs up, slowly laying back down. A few moments later, the frying stopped and I drifted back off to sleep.

It didn't take long before Arin woke me up, gently shaking my foot.

"Hey, Ellie. Ellie, Suzy made breakfast. Come on, you need to eat something."

I groaned, slowly sitting up.

"How's your head?"

"My head is prety much fine, I'm just so groggy and tired. Like I haven't slept in days."

"Good thing she made coffee. Come on, let's eat."

I tossed the blanket to the side and slowly got up, trudging to the stool. Sitting down, Suzy handed me a plate with French toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon. The smell of the bacon almost made me puke, but I took the plate and sat it down in front of me. When she handed Arin his plate, I picked up the bacon and gave it to him.

He didn't say anything either, just nodded. He got us all silverware and we started eating.

"Oh." Suzy mentioned. "There's coffee too. Help yourself. Creamer's in the fridge, sugar is beside the coffee maker, and mugs are second cabinet to the right."

"You are a life saver, thank you." I got up and made myself a cup, blowing on it as I sat back down.

"So, was everything okay last night? I heard you on the phone, but I didn't want to bother you."

"Oh, yeah. It was Dan. He told me his misses you guys, and me. I uh.. I told him I wished things had ended differently, ya know? I spent that whole last day really upset, not handling it well, just being so selfish, and I told him.. I told him I was afraid I'd lose him. He promised I wouldn't, and that I'd be stuck with him forever. Then he told me some tour stories until I fell asleep on the phone with him."

"That's so sweet!" Suzy squealed.

I smiled, nodding. Taking a sip of coffee, I sat the cup down and took a bite of my food.

"So.. do you two do that often?" Arin asked carefully.

"Hm?" He has a habit of asking questions when people have food or drink in their mouth.

"Talk on the phone. Like, every night?"

"Yeah. Almost every night. If he can't call, we always text. To talk about our day, general check in. He's only ever missed a few nights of calling though."

"And falling asleep on the phone?"

"Not too often. Just on really bad days, or if I can't fucking sleep." I chuckled.

"How long's he been on tour?"

"I think.. coming up on.. 2 months. There's a break coming soon where he's taking like 3 days off, and then he has about 3 more weeks left! Why are you asking me all these questions?" I chuckled.

"I just like hearing about you two. It's honestly just so sweet to see."

I smiled. "He really is." I took a few drinks of my coffee, savoring the warmth it gave me.

We ate in silence for a while, not really anything came up to talk about, until I spoke back up. "I'll be out of y'alls hair soon. I feel like I overstayed my welcome." I chuckled, slightly embarrassed.

"Not at all! It was fun!" Suzy exclaimed.

I nodded. "It was."

"Well, if you're gonna go back home, I've got a few episodes you can edit. We've gotta get an upload out in a few days."

"I can get it done by tonight, no problem. Actually, can you make a rough schedule for the next few weeks of when they need to edited and uploaded?"

He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "Well, our editors are back now, have been for a while, so most of the work is going to them, but I'll see if they wanna pass some off. Maybe we can even get them to give up a 10 Minute Power Hour video."

I immediately smiled. "That would be amazing honestly."

"I'll see what I can do."

"I appreciate it. Having something to do helps keep my mind off of everything, and it feels like I'm getting a sneak peak before everyone else. Seeing your guys' chemistry really makes me happy. And y'alls laughter is honestly contagious."

He laughed, leaning back in his chair, but didn't say anything. I watched as he stared blankly in front of him, not moving.

"You... okay over there?"

"Huh?" He snapped out of his trace. "Y-yeah, yeah. I was just thinking. It's so crazy that you kept up with our content all these years. I never really think about how long someone's been a Lovely, and how much time actually passes. It's crazy."

"Oh, definitely. It's easy to put out content and move on with the day. Well, that part isn't easy, but it's easy to forget how much content has been put out there, and how many people have been watching for so long. You kinda become desensitized."

"For sure, but each time I'm reminded, it always freaks me out a little. Don't get me wrong, it's incredible, but also fucking scary."

I laughed, cutting in. "And that's why I told Dan I'll never do a 10 Minute Power Hour. Hell no. Not happening."

"Never say never. You might change your mind, you never know."

"Nah, can't see that happening."

Suzy cut in. "The first time I was on Steam Train, or Game Grumps, it was terrifying, but eventually, even I fell in love."

"But didn't you already have a YouTube channel of your own? Didn't that make it easier?"

"I did, but it actually didn't help because it was a whole new audience of people who watch their content, so I had no idea what to expect coming into it."

"Well, I'd also imagine being with Arin, the reception was a little bit better anyway."

He spoke up. "It was about 50/50 honestly. Some people loved her and us, and some people really hated that I brought my - at the time - girlfriend on. They didn't want it to be too gushy or anything, but over time, they warmed up."

"Hell, some people still hate me, but that's a part of being on YouTube, or any social media really." She shrugged. "Fuck 'em."

"Yeah, I feel like that's why I can't do it, and I'm not even in a relationship. The Lovelies would rip me apart even harder, make accusations, start rumors, God knows what else. I love them, great community, but when women are involved, it's a bit scary."

Arin laughed, raising his eyebrows. "Yeah, it can be a little dangerous. You'll do just fine."

"I hope so." I said on a low tone. "Well, I'll get out of you guys' hair, thank you so much for having me over."

I stood up. Suzy hugged me. Hugging her back, she squeezed a little, before letting go.

Arin got up too, and I offered a fist bump to him. He exhaled out his nose and wrapped his arms around me, gentle but firm. I hugged him back, laying my head on his chest. He rubbed my back. "You be safe kiddo."

I laughed and let go, walking to the door. Suzy walked me out, standing at the door as I got in my car and left.
