Meanwhile, in Latervia....
"My leader. Our spy bots had detected that the final match of the qualifying rounds is about to begin." A castle servant said as Doctor Victor Von Doom walked up to his throne and sat in it.
"Good, be sure to have this on recording." Doom said as the ring appeared onscreen with a lone and familiar figure standing in the middle.
"My lord, may I ask why you are interested in Rescue? She does not seem as strong as Son Venom or any of the symbiotes." The servant asked.
"Tell me....do you wish eternal torment upon yourself?" Doctor Doom responded, his piercing blue eyes staring into the servants soul.
"N-No....no my lord." The frightened servant replied.
"Then don't pester me with such idiotic questions. I know your heart little one, you wish to betray me one day. Know the reason why you are still alive is that I allow it. Understood?" Doom growled.
"Yes my lord." The servant said.
"Good, now leave. I wish to watch this alone." Doom said turning back to the screen.
"Of course my lord." The servant said as he bowed out of the room.
"Now Miss Briefs. Let's see how far you have come." Doom said with yearning in his voice.
Meanwhile, back at the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament...
"Hey ya big lug." Launch said as she got into the ring and approached Goku/Venom. It had been a full two minutes since Norman Osborn had scooped up his son Harry in his arms and had taken him out of Papaya Metro Hospital. Goku just stood there speechless and did not move a muscle after witnessing what had happened before him. A wave emotions hit him, ones that he thought he resolved when he was able to get a second chance of meeting his Grandpa Gohan and his mother Gine. Bulma wanted to be the one to retrieve Goku, but Jarvis warned not to in case her secret identity was revealed.
"Yeah?" Goku/Venom responded, barely turning his head to the blonde.
"Do you want to talk about what just happened?" Launch asked.
"You better." Pistole responded in Launch's head, feeling hasty about easing Goku's and Venom's emotions.
"Yes." They both responded.
"Do you want to talk with me or do you want to include your friends?" Launch responded. Of course Yamcha gave a bit of a wave before getting elbowed in the gut by Wolverine for it. It hurt more since his elbow bone was made of adamatium.
"If Bulma was here I would include her, but we would like to talk with you alone." Goku said as he walked and Launch walked past the Z Fighters. Bulma shed a tear, feeling that the Rescue suit was now a blessing as well as a curse.
"Your time will come around sometime soon. Just be patient Miss Briefs." Jarvis advised.
"Every bit of me wants to help him out. He asked for me. He wanted me to comfort him." Bulma yearned.
"And you will. You need to learn some self control. Instead, focus on the match ahead. Best to show off your newfound power when your crush comes back." Jarvis advised as Yamcha complained to Wolverine about elbowing him in the stomach, but he immediately shut himself up when Logan extended his claws as a warning.
Meanwhile, in a vacant hallway separate from the main hall...
"So tell me, is Harry's illness bothering you?" Launch asked Goku as a tall seemingly obese bald man in white business suit walked past them to go upstairs, not paying any mind to the two fighters. Noticing this, Daredevil carefully observed the lack of interaction, knowing it was unlike him. Something must have gone wrong.
