Colonel Violet's Curse

"Looks like the first match today is going to be me against Krillin. Can't say it's going to be easy, but there are more powerful opponents that will no doubt hand me my own beautiful ass within seconds." Violet said, giving a look towards Rescue and giving her a wink.

"Oh bother." Bulma groaned.

"That's Violet for you." Jarvis said.

"Hey, I wouldn't worry about it. It will be like all the sparring matches we had while training under Master Roshi. You, me, Krillin, and Wolverine had plenty of fun. Right Krillin?" Yamcha stated as they all ventured outside with Tien scanning the crowd looking to see if he could spot Chiaotzu.

"Yeah." Krillin said with no emotion whatsoever.

"What's a matter Hobbit? You are starting to act strange." Venom said.

"Never been better." Krillin said as he went ahead of his friends.

"He's probably just a little nervous. Kami knows I am too. Anyway, it's nearly ti-" Violet tried to say but stopped herself when her cell phone began to ring. "Urgh! If this is a solicitor, I am going to....What?"

"What is it Violet?" Rescue asked.

"The call. It's coming from Krillin." Violet said as she looked her phone in confusion.

"But he's right over there." Yamcha stated as everyone looked to see where the bald monk was. Sure enough, he wasn't even paying attention and didn't even seem to have his own phone in hand.

"Answer it, hang up, and shut the damn device off." Launch recommended.

"That sounds like a plan, but I got two minutes of fun before my match starts." Violet said as she answered the phone and put it on speaker. "Hello, dial a dickhead. May I ask who's calling please?"

"Hello sis, it's bloody well good to hear your voice after all this time." Came a mysterious voice on the other end of the line.

Violet's eyes went stone dead as her skin became pale white, her greatest fear coming to light. Launch and Bulma had only heard of Violet's brother, and what she said about him wasn't pleasant. Although knowing nothing, Yamcha immediately figured out that this is what Wolverine had warned him about, although the former bandit had yet to know how Krillin was involved in this. Without a moment's hesitation, Daredevil leapt into action by jumping back into the crowd to hunt down Violet's evil brother before it was too late.

Meanwhile, back in the crowd...

"Strange. What's going on?" Oolong asked, watching the red costumed hero move pass them.

"Something is not right. I sense something off and I bet that Daredevil guy knows it. I sense it's coming from...Krillin!?" Master Roshi exclaimed with shock.

"Krillin!?" Oolong, Puar, Turtle, and Ghost Usher responded with surprise.

"Grrrr, I knew it. I knew I smelled Jebidiah Killgrave's scent in Krillin's room. He must be after Violet." Wolverine snarled.

"Killgrave? Is there any relation to Violet?" Roshi asked.

"Yeah, he's Violet's prick of a brother and he's not particularly kind to women. He's no doubt mind controlling Krillin right now." Wolverine responsed.

"Then what are you waiting for!? Follow that Daredevil character! He's obviously can sense where that Jebidiah creep is. You should join him." Fortuneteller Baba spat, pointing out the obvious.

As Baba ordered, Wolverine turned around and ran as fast as he could, hoping to catch Daredevil just in time.
