Violet Enough To Be True

"Urgh, what happened? Thank Kami I am awake? Why are my wounds all healed up? Chaiotzu? Where's Chaiotzu?" Tien said as he tried to get up, finding that the wounds that the Green Goblin had dealt him had vanished.

"Oh look who's awake. Must say for a guy with a lot of anger issues, you tend to sleep peacefully." Came a voice from his right as he turned to find Violet sitting there, muching on some buttered popcorn.

"You!" Tien snarled.

"Yes it I, the fabulous former Colonel Violet! Want some popcorn?" Violet said as she extended the popcorn to Tien.

"I don't want anything from Roshi's dogs!" Tien spat as he tried to take the wires off of him so he could get out of bed.

"How rude. Oh well, more for me." Violet said as she continued her feast, not angry by Tien's comment.

"What you doing here?" Tien asked.

"I just wanted to pay you a visit. You were the one who brought Venom to the hospital. With every one of my friends lining up to see him, someone had to stick by you as a show of thanks. Besides, I don't see that Shen guy in here at all." Violet said as she took a sip of the canned alcohol Wolverine had given her.

"Shen doesn't know that I am here and neither does Wilson Fisk." Tien responded. "The only reason why I saved Goku is because it was the honorable thing to do and it was out of a debt for sparing me. Unlike you Turtle Hermit freaks, the Crane School doesn't strike down their enemies while they are wounded and unconscious.

To this, Violet laughed hysterically as if what Tien had told him was the greatest joke in the world.

"What's so funny?" Tien asked.

"Oh if you only knew what the Crane School was really about, you might see the humor. Then again, you don't seem to be the joking type." Violet asked.

"Whatever Turtle Hermit lies you have to tell me, you can forget about it." Tien growled.

"Oh Tien, you misunderstand me. I am going to shed some light as one of the top officers in the Red Ribbon Army. I heard a lot about Master Shen thanks to Mercenary Tao's many wonderful jobs for the good old fascist Red. Both brothers were cold, merciless, lairs who took more pleasure out of the pain from their hits rather than the actual money. Now I certainly wasn't no saint back then, but those brothers took evil to a different definition than any in the rest of the army had seen, especially Tao." Violet said.

"I don't believe you." Tien stated.

"Look, you may think I am a lying evil bitch, but that is no longer the case. I am just a 'regular' bitch who takes pleasure in people racking their heads around the truth to the point where they become nearly as insane as me." Violet said. "Your master is a cruel evil snake who enjoys the misery of others. Capiche?"

Tien stared at Violet, giving a very complex look. While he was conditioned to not believe anything Roshi and his students say, there was something about Violet's words that made her more believable than even Launch. Was it the fact that she was a former adversary of the Turtle Hermit School, thus making her more relatable? Was it the fact that her words and personality was so off the rails, that it might have been true? Or was it something else?

"How was I completely healed?" Tien asked, testing to see if she was telling the truth.

"Bulma received a special package of senzu beans. I don't know who had sent her the package yet, but we gave another one to Chiaotzu for you. Don't worry, there is no chemical in there that would mind control you and your little friend....at least that I am aware of." Violet explained.

Tien nodded. He had heard of the senzu beans from Krillin's fight against Crossbones and Man-Wolf since the werewolf was healed from the miracle drug. He wanted to ask who had given them the beans the last time so he could inform Master Shen and possibly the Kingpin, but he chose not to. He didn't know whether it was because he believed Violet or that he was beginning to have doubts.
