Bullseye

"Mr. Fisk, you wanted to see me?" Tien asked as he entered Fisk's skybox, which overlooked Krillin's and Violet's match with the former seeming to have the upperhand. He could see Rescue hovering in midair courtesy of the devices on the palm of her hands and soles. Daredevil apparently had not returned yet, and while he could not see Son Venom, Launch, and Yamcha, he knew they were sitting on the roof above.

"Ah Bullseye, welcome. Come please sit down, I wanted to discuss something with you." Wilson Fisk said, studying the triclops as he did as he was instructed.

"Sure, does this have to do with Master Shen's trip?" Tien asked.

"Always to the point. Something I always admired about you." Fisk said before continuing the subject. "Do you know what happened during the tournament?"

"Does this have to do with my match with Nam? I must admit I didn't know what came over me nor did I expect that girl Storm to be a weather controlling mutant." Tien said, trying to avoid speaking about Knull. Sensing that Tien was hiding something, Fisk began to press forward.

"Do you remember my employee James Wesley? He used to come by the Crane School on my behalf. Your friend Chiaotzu even remarked how he looked like a weird office employee." The Kingpin continued to question.

"Oh course I remember Wesley. He may have seemed like the everyday employee, but we interacted enough to not forget. Why do you ask?" Tien asked.

Fisk monitored Tien's face closely, looking for further evidence that Tien was still hiding something when he spoke. However, it was apparent that Tien wasn't withholding information this time. Whatever he was hiding, it had nothing to do with his dear friend. In fact, it was now likely that Tien wasn't involved in his murder and did not possess any knowledge on the subject. Still, he couldn't rule out Shen or Mercenary Tao just yet.

"He's dead." Fisk revealed, feeling that the time was ripe to inform Tien of the situation.

"What? How?....When?" Tien asked in complete astonishment.

"He was killed yesterday in one of the men's bathroom of this very building. The exact time between your match with Nam and Daredevil's match with Wolverine. Physical superhuman force was applied before the Dodon Ray was used to finish him off." Fisk admitted.

"The Dodon Ray? How was that possible? Only myself, Chiaotzu, Master Shen, and Mercenary Tao are capable of using that technique." Tien stated.

"That's what I assumed. Both you and your master share this ability. However, what the two of you don't share is the ability to lie, which your master is quite skilled at." Kingpin said.

"No, it can't be. Master Shen would never go back on our deal. It must have been Master Roshi! That old pervert must have snuck in there and killed James himself and framed us. This way our plans would be sabotaged." Tien said.

"While Shen had came up with many 'compelling' arguments, blaming Master Muten Roshi of the Turtle Hermit School was not one of them. I am surprised by your nativity Bullseye." Fisk said.

Tien stared at Fisk with confusion. Why wouldn't Shen immediately think of Roshi as an excuse? The Crane and Turtle Schools have been rivals to the bitter end. Plus, it was possible that Roshi could have learned the Dodon Ray while the two were training under Master Mutaito. It was an easy way out.

"It could be possible that Roshi and the Turtle Hermit School are not the bad guys. They could not have been involved in Ja-" Tien began to think but immediately pushed the thought aside. He would have slapped himself it he wasn't in the presence of the Kingpin of Crime and if the slap didn't remind him of Launch. Why would it remind him of Launch?
