"See, told you Master Roshi had Krillin over." Bulma told Jarvis as she piloted her hovercar over to Papaya Island.
"I still don't know why you had to mute me. I was perfectly fine being part of the conversation." Jarvis pouted.
"Are you kidding me? You were about to give away that you were an artificial intelligence, which was going to lead to the revelation that I was Rescue. Thank Kami Master Roshi is old enough to only know how to operate basic kitchen equipment. Could you imagine if someone like Violet found out too early!?" Bulma scolded.
"From what I could hear in the background, Wolverine was present before you interrupted me. Should we be concerned about that?" Jarvis asked.
"Hmmmm.....I am not too concerned. Wolverine seems to be the type of person to not bother, and if pressed by the others, he could keep it a secret. I can trust Wolverine in the event he finds out." Bulma concluded with the problem.
"So what do we do then? Roshi will surely recognize that you are Rescue if you call out my name during the tournament." Jarvis asked.
"How about we go for a temporary nickname, only used in the heat of battle and company. Does Friday sound good to you?" Bulma asked.
"Do I really have a choice in the name?" Jarvis asked in a snarky matter.
"Of course not." Bulma said with her classic mischievous smile.
"Knew it would be something like that. Now that we got that issue resolved, how about we solve the other dilemma before we land at the Papaya Island Tournament Grounds." Jarvis suggested.
"Would that be winning over Venom?" Bulma asked.
"That is a goal you and you alone need to tackle on your own. What I am discussing is paying Violet and Oolong back for the Bulma Bunny topic." Jarvis said.
"Oh that. Yeah, I plan on beating Oolong over the head with a blunt instrument a few times. As for Violet, I have bit more of a plan worthy for such a mischievous girl." Bulma confirmed.
"And what does that entail?" Jarvis asked.
"Let's just say Violet likes a full view of muscular woman, and I am only going to give her a teaser trailer. She is going drive herself crazy not being able to have me." Bulma answered.
"So devious. I love it." Jarvis answered as Bulma landed her hovercar with Norman Osborn and the Tournament Announcer to greet her.
"And looks like we are here. Do I have to ask you to be quiet or should I mute you during this meeting as well?" Bulma asked.
"Do not fret Miss Briefs, there is no one among you who can call me a butler. I will keep myself quiet." Jarvis said.
"You better." Bulma said as she climbed out of the hovercar to greet the two men. "Hello Mr. Osborn and Mr. Tournament Announcer. How is everything today?"
"Good, your mighty chipper for someone who did a lot of 'Rescuing.'" Norman said.
"Why Norman, is that supposed to be a pun?" Bulma asked slyly, raising an eyebrow.
"Not at all. Just trying not to blow your cover out in the open just in case someone wanted to listen in." Norman said.
"I still can't believe you are actually Rescue. I know it would clash with the traditionalists of the World Martial Arts Tournament, but wouldn't it be cool if you participated as Rescue?" The Tournament Announcer said, giddy as could be.
"Shhhhh, not so loud." Bulma said, calmly trying to keep her secret from the outside world.
"Oh sorry. Wouldn't want anyone to know, especially my co-worker Mickey." The Tournament announcer said as he tried calming himself down, projecting a lower monotone. "Well will you?"
