It was a relatively silent walk back to the hotel. Not even Yamcha or Violet dared to say anything after the grudge match between Bulma and Launch. Both women had an expression that was hard to tell, a mix of release, anger, serenity, and relief. Venom could tell that Pistole was swaying a bit inside Launch, her own form of a victory dance. When they made their way to the lobby, Wolverine immediately made his way to the bar while everyone else packed into the elevator. It was jam-packed, even for Puar, Oolong, and Krillin, whose small size could fit almost anywhere.

"Smart." Krillin muttered to himself about Wolverine. Not only would the mutant avoid any potential and leftover drama, but he could enjoy the elevator ride up with plenty of room to spare.

When the doors opened, they all made their way to their essential rooms. It was a calm yet hasty walk, save for Turtle, as they all closed the doors behind themselves. When Goku and Launch made their way inside, Goku simply walked in with a whistle but stopped when he noticed Launch wasn't beside him. Turning around, he found that the blonde was leaning against the door, producing an eager and slightly insane chuckle to match her Chester cat face.

"What is it, Launch?" Goku asked.

"Did we do something stupid like the Rock Hopper would?" Venom said.

"No, not at all. It finally struck me that I just won." Launch said as she locked the door, sealing herself and Venom from the outside world. If Goku just had sprouted earlier instead of this unnatural growth process, Launch knew what she would do next.

"Yes, you beat us." Goku said as he wagged his tail.

"Not that. Against Bulma." Launch said.

"Didn't you and the Grandpa Stealer agree that your battle was a draw?" Venom asked.

"Yes, but that's not what I am talking about." Launch said getting a bit down since she could sense Venom dampened her mood. What was going on with him?

"Then what?" Venom asked, as if he didn't know the answer.

Launch frowned, thinking about what was bothering him. Mentally, she dug deep into what was going on inside his mind, and it confirmed that he did know the answer. He knew that she had him officially all to herself. However, she wasn't expecting an emotion that Venom often exhibited. Fear...and there was also something else.

"Of course. He is acting the fool so he can tiptoe around the situation." Pistole informed.

"What?" Launch questioned, wanting Pistole to explain more.

"Our darling is afraid. He knows what the next step is, and the only obstacle left is time. Once Goku is full-grown, he knows it's going to have a romantic relationship." Pistole explained.

"I thought we agreed we would be a couple once Goku becomes grown. Why is he all of a sudden getting cold feet?" Asked a frustrated Launch.

"What you humans call sex is not the same thing as companionship." Was all Pistole needed to say to get Launch to see her point. She facepalmed herself, not realizing this. She had forgotten that Goku and Venom, even if they were an adult, would not be your atypical man. Being tied to an alien symbiote who constantly craved to feed its and fight as long as you could remember was going to affect that. A symbiote was supposed to bring out the host's deepest desires, and unlike Launch, who bonded to Pistole in her late teens, Goku probably had Venom as a toddler. Maybe even at Goku's birth. Having Venom as an adult wouldn't draw out Goku sexual desires. Unless....

"Hey, do you mind sitting on the bed and waiting for me? I promise I won't take too long." Launch asked, trying to figure out her new theory.

"Sure." Venom agreed, obedient now that he could no longer sense Launch's hormonal crave.
