"That triclops and his little friend wanted to talk to you or at least Violet, but I got in their way." Wolverine said truthfully to Launch in the wake of destruction left behind by himself, Tien, and Daredevil. With those two and Chiaotzu out of the lobby, it left him to explain things to the blonde and her symbiote.

"If he just wanted to talk, why didn't you let him through?" Launch asked.

"Because Tien didn't have the most stable mind. Sure, his initial intentions were good, but he could have easily snapped if triggered a certain way." Wolverine explained.

"We could have easily beat the Tri Renta Machoke and Little Norm, but we do question ourselves with Devil Toph involved." Pistole boosted.

"If you keep talking like that, you will end up sounding like Yamcha." Launch told her symbiote.

"No! We refuse to sound like Hayden Crywalker." Pistole pouted.

"But Pistole is correct, we could handle Tien. Even if we did end up fighting, there are still others upstairs. With Venom and Master Roshi joining in, Tien wouldn't have stood a chance." Launch pointed out.

"You forget about the others. He might lash out at the weaker fighters. Krillin, Yamcha, and Violet could have been targets. Even Oolong, Puar, and Turtle. I would rather have it where Tien put his full focus on me." Wolverine explained.

"I noticed you didn't mention Bulma." Launch stubbornly said.

"As Rescue, Bulma definitely could go toe to toe with Tien.  Like it or not, Bulma is the strongest if you don't factor in any alien symbiotes or mutant abilities." Wolverine said, making Pistole growl a little.

"So why was Daredevil involved in your little fight?" Launch asked with curiosity.

"He claimed he wanted to talk to Tien and Chiaotzu. I don't know why, but he seemed genuine about it despite throwing our asses around." Wolverine said.

"I trust him. Maybe Daredevil is what Tien needs right now." Launch said.

"Maybe you're right. Maybe that defense attorney is enough to make Tien see the error of his ways. Everyone deserves a second chance." Logan agreed.

"Devil Toph is a defense attorney?" Launch asked with much of Pistole's influence behind her words.

"So he claimed." Wolverine said as banging and yelling could be heard from the likes of Venom upstairs.

"Looks like your boyfriend wants to play with Krillin and Oolong this time." Wolverine commented.

"Awwww, but we wanted to beat up Baldo Baggins and Tepig too." Pistole pouted.

"You know he isn't my boyfriend, not yet anyway." Launch said.

"I am surprised for his age, Goku hasn't sprouted up yet." Wolverine replied.

"Yeah, it's getting annoying. Though I sense it's going to happen soon. It has to. Otherwise, I am going to lose my mind." Launch said. "Anyway, I have to go back up. This way, Venom doesn't get too carried away."

"Right behind you. I had enough beer and fights for one night." Wolverine said as he followed Launch to the elevator.

Meanwhile, somewhere on the rooftops near the hotel...

"What in Kami's name do you want from me?" Tien asked as Daredevil finally stopped in his tracks.

"You requested someone to talk to. Since Launch and Violet weren't available, I am here for you." Matt offered.

"You're our enemy. Why would we want to talk to you?" Tien asked asked Chiaotzu crossed his arms.

"Are those your words? Perhaps they are Fisk's and Shen's. Maybe even Mercenary Tao's since I heard you two had a student and teacher bit going." Matt questioned.
