When Aang was walking out of the boy's bathroom, he was met by Hide, On Ji's boyfriend.

"We need to talk," he said, dragging Aang by the arm.

"About?" Aang asked, trying to sound clueless. He knew exactly what Hide was talking about, he just wanted to hear him say it.

"On Ji. I know you like her," he said, suddenly yelling. "She's mine."

"Really?" Aang said, raising a brow. "I had no idea."

"What's going on?" On Ji suddenly asked, panicking.

"On Ji, tell Aang to back off and that you love me," Hide ordered bluntly.

"No." Hide stopped circling Aang and frowned.

"What?"

"I told you yesterday. We are not together!" On Ji exclaimed, irritated.

A crowd was suddenly forming around the three of them, and phones were being pulled out of everyone's pockets. "Whoever wins this fight, wins On Ji," Hide yelled, and the students around them began whispering furiously.

"Are you sure you want to fight the Avatar?" Aang asked sheepishly and Hide grit his teeth.

"I'll do anything for On Ji," Hide growled stubbornly and Aang laughed to himself. He was going to win this fight, not for On Ji, but for himself.

Suddenly, Hide lunged forward, blasting fire from his fist. Aang dodged all of Hide's attacks and occasionally sent him flying with some basic air-bending. When the crowd had increased, Aang thought he should end the fight, so threw a few lockers at Hide before turning to face the mob of students who cheered his name.

"I think I won," Aang whispered in Hide's ear, helping him up.

"On Ji loves me," Hide claimed. "She just doesn't know it yet."

"Aang?" Aang spun around instantly, only to meet a heartbroken Luya. "Does this mean we're broken up?" she asked, her voice breaking.

"I never meant for this to happen," Aang said plainly, shrugging his shoulders.

"If you didn't like me anymore, you should have told me," Luya uttered quietly.

"I didn't want to hurt you," Aang began but Luya stopped him.

"Well you did, and now I feel like an idiot!" she cried, sobbing into her hands.

"Please don't cry," Aang begged.

"Too late," Luya whispered before running away.

"Aang!" On Ji exclaimed, jumping into his arms. "That was so hot."

She kissed him softly, and Aang didn't push her away, or say anything after, because, he didn't know what to do.  Instead, he just smiled and held On Ji's hand, thinking about what a shitty person he was.
