Chapter 44 : Sokka 🗡| The Mystery of The Red Wig

Seeing Toph in Toa's arm was difficult, but not seeing Zuko was much was harder. He barely saw him around school, and when he did, he was with the FN boys who Sokka hated passionately.

"I don't understand what's going on between you and Zuko," Sokka asked Suki as they settled down on a table at the back of the cafeteria.

"Nothing! I will tell you this though, Toph and her new boyfriend are really pissing me off," Suki said.

"I know," Sokka sighed. "They're also like the most random couple ever."

"They're together because of me," Suki admitted, resting her chin on the palm of her hand.

"What?" Sokka was furious.

"Kat called me a while back and asked me how Toph could win you back. I told Toph to make you jealous," Suki explained. "Ming told me Toa liked Toph, so I told her to date him."

"Suki, if you weren't my best friend I would have thrown you into the wall by now," Sokka said, taking a deep breath.

"I need to find out why Aang is starting rumours about me!" Suki exclaimed, stuffing her mouth with lettuce. "I thought we were friends."

"He's not starting the rumours, he's just spreading them," Sokka told Su, placing his arm on her shoulder. "If you want to discover the truth, you have to find the person who created this mess."

Suki gulped. "And who is that?"

"Ty Lee."

"What the f*ck made you think it was okay to start rumours about me!" Suki yelled at Ty Lee, about to pounce on her. Immediately, Sokka pulled her back and gave Ty Lee a weak smile.

"I saw you kiss Zuko," Ty Lee sneered, folding her arms. "Admit it."

"No," Suki spat, watching people circle around them. "What are you on?"

"What are you on?" Ty Lee scoffed, wrinkling her nose.

"Ty Lee, I did not kiss Zuko," Suki repeated sternly, trying to calm down.

"I saw you with my own eyes! Well, your hair at least," Ty Lee mumbled. Sokka's eyes widened. Her hair?

"My hair?"

"I didn't see your face, but I knew it was you. You're ginger, right?"

"Not anymore,"- Suki stroked her dark brown hair.

"So, it wasn't you?" Ty Lee whispered quietly. Suki nodded. "Then who was it? Who kissed Zuko?"

"Ty, did you see anyone else in school that night?" Sokka asked, quirking a brow.

Ty Lee shook her head. "I did," Suki whispered, looking down at the floor. "When I was driving out of school, I saw Yarla come in with a red wig."

"Red wig? Suki, Yarla framed you," Sokka told her, connecting the dots. "But why?"

"I don't know," Suki said quietly and the bell rang.

Sokka tried not to beat Toa up, but it was insanely difficult. He had stolen Toph from him after all, but to be honest, loosing Toph was all on Sokka. He was a mess. A fuck-boy who had secret feelings for his best friend, but was also jealous of the ex-girlfriend he had dumped. Wow.

After school, Sokka cornered Toa and kicked him, and punched him, until his face was covered in blood. Sokka had learned one thing that day. Toa was sh*t at fighting.
