Bonus Chapter #13: Where the Sun sets

POV: Breeze, the Phoenix Queen

*90 years since the death of Snow and Calamitous becoming a curse.*

*10 years after Feather dying from old age.*

A red Phoenix with blue wings paced back and forth. She was about hundred-twenty at this time, and she was becoming tired of it all. The Queen was trying to follow the plan that Snow had given her.

Snow, a white Angel with blue wings and a kind soul had many secrets. She sacrifice her life to prevent a war that could not be won by our claws alone. The young Angel ensure her brother would survive by a spell that would keep his soul and energy alive.

It was like it was yesterday.

Sun told Feather that he wanted him off the island after the pair become Rulers. The Griffin left early and created two islands; one for Griffins and one in honor of Snow.

When Breeze and Sun came to the cave that Calamitous had gifted the couple as a pre-wedding gift. The Phoenix flew to her room not allowing the Dragon in. After all, Phoenix's magic was unstable and attached to their emotions. So, Sun would not be able to break the spell even if he wanted to.

There lying journal of pale blue was lying on the Princess's bed. It was Snow's writing and was given to Breeze as her guide to the future.

Breeze never told Sun this as Snow warned that things will get worst if anyone besides the Phoenix knew what was in the journal. It had a list of curses that Calamitous would give to each of them as he turned to a Statue.

Breeze's felt she was the worst and she would have dreams of how each of her friends would die. Sun would be from pride, while Feather would be from guilt.

The Queen grabbed the journal and open it again. It gave her comfort in times of sorrow. Sun was not a good husband, but a decent ruler. She hates to admit it but Snow was right that Sun had to be given a chance to change.

The Dragon never did.

"Queen Breeze?" Someone came into Breeze's study.

The Phoenix looked at the Thylacine with concern. Today was the day that Snow's journal would be complete.

The Angel gave a warning to the Queen that Sun would not give up the throne that easily. He would not live in peace as someone took the throne. This went against the wishes of the Angel siblings as they believed a Ruler that changes every so often would ensure that the Island will always change for the better.

It ensures only the just and kind Ruler will ever be on the throne.

"Your grace?" The voice called again as Breeze was lost in thought.

"I'm sorry, Joy. I guess I am not feeling myself today." Breeze said in a kind tone to her maid.

Joy was a Thylacine of age twenty and was one of fifteen Potential Heirs. However, Sun did not know this as Breeze did everything in her power to protect them.

Sun was becoming more and more paranoid as he aged. A Dragon can usually be lived for thousands of years, but only after a hundred years of life and the once good king became cruel.

At first, it was only out of anger or when he was stressed. He never hurt Breeze in any way, not until everything shattered.

Feather and Snow thought the war would end if the King of the Dragons and Princess of the Phoenix wed. It was a good plan at first and Breeze was on broad.
