POV: Roseis
A long, long time ago. The world was thrown into chaos a great war among humans, mythical beasts, and animals raged on. Fire and death were always the results. Now, when it comes to Mythical beasts, they are represented by the elements: fire, water, nature, wind, earth, and light. However, even the Mythical Beasts were divided among one another.
The Dragons and Phoenixes are jealous of each other as they share the element of fire and wind. During the Everlasting war, they caused the most damage. However, not everyone wanted war. The Griffins were the few beasts that formed safe havens for all creatures that wanted peace. These types of Great Beasts represent the elements of nature and Earth. They used the Earth to form walls of stone to keep the war out. However, little did they realize that shutting out the war did not make the problem go away.
The Angels represented the water and light element and were different from most Great Beasts as they created most living creatures, such as animals and humans. They hated the war and death but did not do a thing to stop it. It was as if they were waiting for life to destroy itself. So, it can be reborn again.
However, someone didn't like to watch the chaos and felt pain every time a creature died. As a result, the Angel named Snow betrayed her tribe and flew down to Earth. She wanted to see if she could stop the war. However, this proved to be an impossible task as other creatures attacked her. One day, a Griffin named Feather saw the nearly dead Snow and took her into his territory.
When she came too, she realized that the creatures were all around her and appeared to be unafraid of her. Many of them were babies, being left alone after their parents died. Snow considered this odd because most Griffins took in only adults believing that the young were a burden. They only allowed young children in with the parents in the hopes that they would grow up and help defend Griffin's territory. However, this didn't seem to be the case.
Snow looked up at the Griffin that saved her. "I thought Griffins don't take in young ones or at least never took everyone in." The Angel pointed out to the Griffin after observing her surroundings.
Another thing that Snow noticed was that the creatures within the walls weren't from one tribe or the same strength. There were Mythical (Great) Beasts, Humans, and animals.
*Who was this Griffin?* Snow thought as she taught to believe that Griffin would only help one tribe, but he took in everyone. She was in shock and in awe that everyone appeared to get along with one another.
Feather broke her train of thought as he said. "What is the difference between us? We all have families, all live and all die." Griffin spoke with much kindness as if everyone should feel this way.
Snow never met another creature, not alone a Mythical Beast that had such feelings before, and it made her hopeful that things could change. However, Feather was hard to convince at first, but one way or another, he gave in. Some believed that Feather started to believe in Snow's idea for peace, or he fell in love with her.
Both Feather and Snow knew that it was a matter of time until it was too late for every creature. The Everlasting war was killing the land, and as a result, the Earth too was dying. Nothing but fire and smoke were seen for miles and miles. Even Griffin's territories were starting to become rare as the war continued.
One faithful day, Feather and Snow began their plan, which was to create an island that could house every creature. Including Mythical Beasts, Humans, and Animals from every strength and tribe. The island was meant to keep the war and death out, much like Griffin's safe heaven. Their main goal was to ensure a few survived as even the Angels could not bring back the lives that were already lost and collected.
