Q and A: 2

1) How long does it take to write each chapter?

About three to four days. However, if it's planned out it takes two days. On the first day, we write the layout then the next day goes over the finer details. However, this is just Wild101Life. Some of the authors might take a week or two for a chapter.

2) How many chapters will there be?

When we feel that everything is wrapped up. We won't give anything away, but we will say that the ending will surprise you.

3) Will there be more Great Beasts?

Yes. All mythical animals lived on the island. However, we are taking the time of finding the creatures we want to show now. This took time as we modified the Myths to fit into the book. For example, the Angels do come from Christianity, but we spin it. The Angels have no forms and appeared more like balls of light. They can shift into any creature, and their wings reflect their auras.

4) How does the Sphinx look in Panthera Regina?

In my (Wild101Life) vision, the sphinx looked like large cats with wings, and that is it. However, I made it in the lore that each Great Beast will look different. Even the dragons from our beloved series, the Wings of Fire, can be represented in the book.

Raptona is making the Sphinx. However, like the other tribes (Great Beast) they all look different.

5) Will there be a second?

At this time, we have no idea.

Update: The chance of a second book has increased.

6) Will the other Royal Family get Gifts?

Maybe. :)

7) Do queer creatures exist?

Yes, they do. Wild101Life does not feel comfortable about writing queer characters as she doesn't want to offend anyone. She does enjoy the idea of expanding this lore. Despite not thinking she will make a good representation of the group, she will edit those chapters. 

However, all of the authors put hints of some past rulers being queer themselves. When this happens, the ruler usually adopts someone from their species as an heir. They do adopt outside their kind, but since they're not recognized by the Statue of Truth. They are not heirs.

8) Will we see the Statue of Truth change its shape in the first book?

Maybe. We won't say for sure what animal it would be. It's a working idea and might change later. However, Wild doesn't think it would.

9) Will we meet other leaders and cultures?

Yes, but not everyone. And before anyone says anything. All creatures of the island do not represent any given race. We will be inspired by different cultures, but that's it. All Great Beasts no longer have leaders from their tribe. They follow the animals as almost all have bred with others the creatures.

Only the Royal Family is the only Great Beast that is able to rule. All others might rule their tribes but not as a whole.

10) There are only four Authors but will there be more?

There might be as we take turns writing chapters or helping with chapters. However, regardless of who does what, everyone gets the credit. Yes, there will be more Authors added as we go.

11) Will the main cast have relationships?

As we go along, we will see if that will play out. As of right now, there are not a lot of characters that will fit for being partners. However, the idea has occurred about the main casts finding love.

Update: Starting January 14, one of our authors, Wild101Life will be back in college. Chapters updates might be delayed. Unlike before getting two or three chapters published each week. It might be more like one or two months. This also gives us more time of creating chapters by giving more than one week to get it done. We thank you guys for your patience.
