POV: Kadupul

Kadupul didn't know what was happening to her but knew that Rex was going to die. She felt the Element, Light pouring into her. It was an odd feeling because she never felt this before. It was as if Snow herself was blessing her.

The Darwin's fox started to get a deeper sense of her surroundings, than before. She felt more than just the grass below her. Kadupul could feel the Earth moving. The scent of rain was threatening over in the next territory. Everything just became clearer around her.

The gray fox ears twitched as the wind surrounded her as if calling her, welcoming her. Kadupul's sense of hearing sharpens as she heard voices of simple whispers around her.

"Kadupul?" The Darwin's Fox heard Swamp call out to her in a concerned tone but couldn't respond. "A Kitsune?"

The Swamp Monster's voice was turned into more in awe as he spoke the simple word. At first, Kadupul believed that he was talking to something else, but something made her stop as the whispers occurred more.

"I thought Kitsune died out?* Someone random said.

"No, they went to the mainland. Didn't they?" A very distinct dragon voice spoke.

*Note: Great Beast has a slight accent to the rest of the island. It's strange, but it happens for no reason.*

*Is that what is happening?* Kadupul wondered. She knew little of the Great Beast besides the names. However, all foxes know about the legendary Kitsune. *I wish this happened before my journey.*

However, Kadupul decided against that thought as the events probably would never have happened. The Darwin's Fox would have been wanted by her sulk. Reynard wouldn't have betrayed her.

Most importantly the fox wouldn't have met...

All fox tribes worship Kitsunes. All kits dreamed of finding out they were blessed by the Stars of Fate. The kits in her sculk would get into a Kitsune phase. However, it never happened to her. She always believed that she wouldn't have been a blessing.

"Oh, my. I never thought a Kitsune and a Griffin could ever form bonds." Someone say out loud.

Kadupul's ear moved in the direction of the voice. *Was that true?* The fox thought as she heard the random creature's voice. She noticed that couldn't move her body. Any movement that was made was based on reflexes.

The Darwin Fox prayed that she could at least say something as her powers grew, but she couldn't. Kadupul felt trapped as she started sensing Rex's energy level.

*THUD!!!*

Kadupul's heart fell into her stomach as she heard the thud as the Earth shook from Griffin's landing. For some reason, the fox already guessed what happened. The two Griffins were fighting for the throne, and Rex wasn't experienced. She knew that much without sight.

*It's worth a shot.* Kadupul thought as she tried to summon her power to aim at the Griffin she wasn't bonded to. She wasn't sure how to make her powers happen but trying was better than doing nothing.

However, just as she was going to release it. Something feathery touches her back. Her head shot in the direction of Swamp. The power vanished as suddenly as it appeared. It was flicking a switch on and off. Surely, it couldn't be that easy, but Kadupul learned from her Lessons during life and death situations. All creature's energy levels will be increased just enough to ensure that they survived. Sometimes it works, and sometimes you become a meal.

"Kadupul. We don't have a clear enough shot for that kind of spell. It could kill Prince Rex and any Griffins in a hundred-mile radius." Swamp said calmly. "Let's just wait. We need a clear shot, or we end up hurting innocent lives."
