Ibukis pov

I was sitting down eating pancakes when I noticed that a chair was empty.

Kokichis chair.

I sighed. He must still be upset about his mommy.

"mommy what do we do?" I asked her "how do we make kokichi feel better?"

"I'm not sure darling" mommy sighed "but if anyone can do it it's you"

She's right. I'm his big sister now. It's my job to cheer him up!

I raced upstairs and threw open the door "rise and shine sleepyhead!" I said brightly.

"go away ibuki" kokichi groaned.

"now that's no way to talk to your big sister" I shook my head as I threw open the curtains "come downstairs and enjoy a family meal!"

"I don't want to" kokichi yelled as he hid under the curtains "I just want to be alone"

I felt a pain in my chest. Kokichis so sad right now. I shook my head. This just won't do!

"ok mister no more hiding away!" I yelled as I pulled him out of bed "you're a little boy not a vampire! We're going out to have some fun"

"I don't want to!" kokichi yelled but I didn't listen. I dragged him out the door kicking and screaming. Eh he'll thank me later!

*time skip*

I happily bit down on my crepe as the chocolate covered my taste buds. Going here always cheers me up. Can't say the same for kokichi. He was miserably staring at the crepe, not even touching it. This doesn't seem to be working.

"can I go home now?" he asked.

"uhh sure thing" I smiled at him.

He nodded and stood up. No matter what I did he just seems to get sadder and sadder. Maybe I'm not a good big sister-

Suddenly a stray puppy jumped out, his eyes fixed on kokichi crepe. He nervously held it out and the puppy snatched it up happily.

"arf!" the puppy jumped into his arms, tail wagging happily.

"nehehe" kokichi giggled, a real smile was spread across his face "he's really cute. Can we keep him ibuki?" he flashed me the puppy dog eyes.

"hmm let me think.. Of course we can" I hugged him close.

Mommy was right. I was able to make him smile again. Maybe I am a good big sister...
