"At last, we found you, bro!" Tapik ni Ranger sa balikat ko.
He sat beside me, and I heard the rest of them enter the room. I smirked and shook my head.
The bastards found me at last. My mind speaks.
"Ang dilim dito. Mukhang kweba na ang penthouse na ito ah," si Conrad.
He opens the blinds and pushes the remote control from those remotes I put away days ago at the top of the divider.
"All by myself, don't wanna be. All by myself. . . anymore. . ."
Napalingon ako sa matipunong boses niya at si Diezel ito. Pilyo ang ngiting niya habang kumukanta na bitbit ang dalawang kaha na beer.
Dammit.

"Art Atticus, baby. I love you, bro!" Agad na yakap niya, "ang bango mo, bro! Shithouse!" kantyaw na tawa niya.
"Dammit, gorilla. Bitiwan mo nga ako!" Tulak ko sa malaking katawan niya. Pero ang tibay nito.
"Akala ko ba ako ang mahal mo, Dez? Nagbago na ba ang puso mo?" si Enzo.
I hissed when I saw him getting inside the room.
"Enzo?" I said and strode at him.
"The heck, bro. You lose some weight. Don't stress yourself."
We pat shoulders and hug each other. I hadn't seen Enzo for more than a year, and I missed a lot of him as he stayed up in Italy.
"Put the aircon, Ranger. Lakasan mo," si Drew. May dalawang mamahalin siyang wine na bitbit. Nakatupi ang pormal na damit at halatang galing pa siya sa trabaho.
"How are you, Art?" Lapag niya nito sa mesa. "Kaya pa ba? You can do it. Ikaw pa?" Kindat niya.
"Dammit." Iling ko sa sarili.
All of them are now looking at me like I'm going to kill myself after a heartache. Huh, great!
"Why the hell all of you are here? Sinong may pakana nito?" Ngisi ko at namaywang na akong tinitigan sila.
Ranger opens the beer and gives everyone a bottle, including me. They sat down in circles like we were having a damn meeting of something.
"Wala ba'ng pulutan?" si Diezel. Baliw ang titig na ginawa niya kay Ranger at sinapak ni Ranger ang ulo niya.
"What the fuck, Reeve Gutom lang naman ako!" Tayo niya at napailing na ako.
Every time Diezel gets serious with his actions and words, he will call us by our names, not nicknames.
"Xavion will bring some. I have rang him earlier. Hintayin mo na lang ang paglapag ng helicopter niya sa ibabaw ng penthouse na ito. Maririnig mo iyon," si Ranger kay Diezel.
"Really? Cheese and whiskers. Shit!" Mura ni Diesel at humakbang na siya patalikod.
"I'll wait on the rooftop. I have nothing to say about your heartache, as I have no experience. That's why I better love a man than a woman," ngisi ni Diezel sa akin.
"Really? Is Godzilla talking? Or the mighty Gorilla?" kantyaw ni Linus. Kararating lang din nila. Nasa likod niya si Xavion, sabay silang dalawa.
Face down, I smirked and shook my head. Now all the idiots are here. I bet this won't do good for me.
The two of them sat down, and Ranger gave them a beer. They all went quiet for a second as Jesus passed in the middle of us, and they all looked at me. My brows lifted, and I shook my head.
