Atticus' POV
"Atticus!"
Ang malakas na boses ni Philip ang unang narinig ko at lahat kami napalingon sa banda niya.
My smile faded when I looked at him. He seems furious, like he wants to kill me this time.
"Damn you! Where did you hide my son?"
Isang malakas na suntok ang pinakawala niya at tumama ito sa kabilang bahagi ng pisngi.
I smirked when it hits me, but it wasn't strong enough because I am still standing solid in front of him. Hinayaan ko muna siya at mahigpit ang hawak niya sa kwelyo ng damit ko at akmang susuntok sa ikalawang pagkakataon.
"Anak mo? O anak ko?"
He couldn't punch me. And the shock in the way he stared was happiness for me. My jaw tightened, and my fist landed on his face with a snap.
He fell, almost kissing the cold concrete floor.
Dammit. That serves you right!
I know Philip was not my average enemy. I don't have one enemy in this business but a family.
Heck, that's him.
"Arthur is not yours!" Mabilis na tayo niya at katulad ko ay nag-aapoy ang titig namin dalawa.
He was about to throw another fit at me, but my bodyguards were quicked as they got a hold of him. Everyone's looking at us, and guess what? We are in the spotlight of tonight's event.
Tonight is the final catwalk of Monde Fashion. This is supposed to be the last event I need to be at present before going to the island.
Arthur was with Ranger ready to go to the island where Gaige is. Mama is not around, kaya kinuha ko na ang pagkakataong ito para maisagawa ang plano ko.
"What's happening here?" si Sabine. Lumapit agad siya kay Philip at halatang nag-aalala ito sa kanya.
"Where is my son, Atticus?! How dare you abduct him! You will go to jail. It's kidnapping!" Hysterically, he's venting with much anger, and I can feel it. And guess what? I was feeling the same way.
"Atticus? What's this all about?" si Sabine sa akin.
"Give me back my son, or else you'll pay for this!"
"You're fucking disgraceful, Philip! Arthur is not your son and not your blood! I have all the evidence with me. I've run a DNA test, and guess what? He is my son! Tapos na ang kabaliwan mo, Philip. Grow up and stop messing with my life! Aren't you ashamed? You are a fucking doctor who messed up because of your ego! Hindi ka ba naawa kay Mama? Aren't we brothers? We fucking share the same mother and you, bastard!" Suntok ko sa kanya.
We rolled over like kids while fighting. No one interrupts us. No one tried to separate us.
"I am his legal guardian!" Sagot niya at suntok sa mukha ko pero hindi tumama ito.
"And I am his father!" Hawak ko sa leeg na bahagi niya. Susuntok na sana ulit ako dahil nasa ilalim ko na siya pero mabilis ang ginawang pag-hawak ng isang tao sa katawan ko at hinila ako.
"Fucking, dammit!" Pagpupumiglas ko. Hindi pa ako tapos at gusto kong basagin ang pagmumukha ng baliw na ito.
"That's enough!"
Both of us paused when we heard the mighty voice of my father.
Dammit. I swore in silence and shook my head. I feel something drip in the side of my mouth, and it's blood. I smirked and laughed a little bit.
I thought my father was in Europe, nakabalik na pala siya. Ang bilis niya.
"My God, Atticus!" si Kara. Pinunasan niya ang gilid ng labi ko at napaatras na ako.
