Chapter 38- Getting in there

"Ashey will you really do it?" Kuya asked, while waiting for the fireworks. It's going to be new year soon. I get a stick of a hotdog with a marshmallow on top. 

"Yup, sayang naman kung itu-turn down ko. It's a huge project with a huge people. Maganda 'yon sa negosyo." I told him, but he still look hesitate. 

"I'm really okay, kuya. I'm healed." I assure him, but he just shook his head. Tinulungan niya si ate Maya sa pag hahanda kasama sila mama. Samantalang ako dito, nag v-vlog. I'm not really that fame anymore when it comes to the youtube. I'm very fine with it, in additional with that I'm focusing more on myself being a produce- director at the same time. I really enjoy being behind the camera rather than bein on screen. On screen takes a lot of pressure and the standard you need to meet others expectation. I guess, I'm done with that already. 

A new year came, with a lot of greetings and blessing. True to kuya's word kasama siya sa unang meeting namin with the Mendez Medical meeting. They went to our office to talk about business. Good thing is that Zian was not around. My team, to be specific the film will be in the hand of Dren and Christian. They'll be shooting  around next week, and I'll be having a press conference for my first movie. 

"Could you manage your time?" I asked Dren, he has a lot on his schedule lately. Dumagdag pa 'tong Mendez Medical. 

"You could get a secretary if you want." I suggested but he don't want to. I went to the editing room to check the finale of the movie. 

May mga minimal error lang sa subtitle. Ako na ang nag ayos dahil busy slang lahat. Ang iba naman ay nasa lock in taping for our second movie. Paminsan minsan ay pumupunta si Dren dahil siya ang producer, while I'm the executive producer and the script writer. Katulong ko lagi si Dren. 

"Producer A, may invitation po." sabi ng isa kong team, I look at the invitation. It's a charity event at the last week of january. I'll be going in this charity event. 

All by myself I went to the BMH channel dahil doon magaganap ang press conference. I fixed myself, I want to look decent ibang klaseng mga tao ang makakasama ko. Mamaya na rin ang premier night, may mga invited na guest. Of course I invited my family. Si kuya lang ang hindi makakapunta dahil may surgery siya by that time.

The press conference will be live kaya walang pwedeng i-cut na scene. I'm sure the squad is watching, syempre ito yung hinihintay namin. 

We talked about how our friendship started, how was our friendship all about. Of course it wasn't all about happiness, travel, eat, vlog, dream, but also the sorrowful of one's life. The pain it's in there. Friendship wouldn't be stronger if there's no pain. 

After that, naka hinga ako ng maluwag at nagpasalamat sa mga actors ko, and to the reporter, everything, everyone around us. Pumunta ako sa dressing room ko nang masaya nakahinga talaga ng maluwa. 

I guess I finally made it. Sa gabi pa naamn ang premier night so I'll just change my clothes and will went back to the office when I recieved a text.

I smirked, as I sent the message. Hindi niya ako maloloko. Alam kong nakauwi na siya galing prague.

I giggled. Hindi rin naman pala nagsisinungaling 'tong si Richard. I told my team and the crew to go to the unli wings resto this early. To celebrate dahil babalik pa ako sa BMH to watch with them the premier show.
