Lloyd's POV

It's been 2 weeks since we got back from the Island. Jay and Kai are headed down to the police station to question Ronin. Zane, Cole, and Nya are on a mission. Todays my day off. I decided to clean my room a bit since I have nothing else to do. I crawled through the closet and found a box labeled special memories. The date that was written was from three years ago and when I first met the ninja. I might as well look through this stuff if there's anything to throw out I thought to myself. I grab a box cutter from my desk. I cut through the box to find papers, old uniforms, and pictures. It wasn't very organized since all the dates were scattered and I haven't had much time in the past to straighten my things. I dug through the box taking out everything inside. I found a photo of me when I was younger with the ninja and Wu.

After about thirty minutes of searching, I found a picture that made my smile from the good memories fade from the sad ones. I lifted up the picture of me and Harumi.

Three years earlier...

"Rumi where are you" I ask searching the deck of the Bounty. I hear a thud behind me and someone covers my eyes. I smile. "Hey I might make a pretty good ninja." the girl removes he hands from my eyes as I turn around. "I think you would Rumi" I say laughing trying not to blush. "Have Zane and Jay found anything yet on the Sons of Garmadon whereabouts" Harumi asked. "No" I said with disappointment and frustration. Harmi noticed my vexation. "hey we'll find them" she said placing her hand on top of mine to comport me. Her touch sent a shiver down my spine. Harumi frowned. "Hey we will bring justice to your parents." I smile I try to be the one comforting. "I know" Rumi smiles.

Harmi goes to the edge of the Bounty and looks over the deck. "Woah check it out Lloyd" she said grabbing my hand and pulling me over. "Wow it's beautiful" I say staring down to a gorgeous waterfall surrounded by greenery and wildlife. "It really is" she said staring out towards the horizon. "There's someone more beautiful" I say Turing towards her. As soon as I finished the sentence I slapped my hand to my mouth. I began to blush until I looked as red as a tomato. Rumi turned to me and began to giggle at my coloration. I smile bashfully. "I uh-" before I could speak Harmi kissed me on the cheek making me even more red than before. I look into her eyes. I get lost in her grey eyes with remnants of amber around her eye like ash from a fire. I've never been in love before I thought to myself.

WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP

I'm brought back into the present when the alarm goes off. Why are the best of moments not lifetimes. "Good bye Rumi" I say laying the picture on the ground. "Lloyd you there" Cole asked over the intercom. "Be right there" I say grabbing my gear running to meet my team.
