Jaya Week- Day 2 (Gift)

Jay and Nyas one year anniversary was coming up. Ever since they defeated Nadakhan they've been inseparable.
Jay wanted to make it really special and wanted to get her the most perfect gift. He just didn't know what that was.Jay went to his friends for help.
"Why are you asking me?" Cole asked face deep in a bag of chips. "Fine not you," Jay groaned. "Zane?" Jay looked around for his nindriod friend. "He's with Pix," Lloyd said.
"Any ideas?" Jay asked Lloyd. "How would I know? Girls are gross! There is no way I would ever like one," Lloyd said leaving to find Master Wu.
"Kai?" Jay asked turning to Kai as his only hope. "She's your girlfriend figure it out," Kai said plopping down onto a bean bag. Kai was still adjusting to their relationship all be it that it had been a year.
"So helpful," Jay groaned. "Guess I'll have to figure this out myself," Jay rolled his eyes. "You do that," Cole said with a face full of chips. "Gross," Jay left annoyed with his teammates.

Jay was looking through cardboard boxes unpacking. He didn't have anything better to do. Jay opened a box and found Nyas Samurai helmet.
Jay picked it up. He knew Nya really missed being a samurai but he knew she loved being a ninja too.
He brushed his thumb across the symbol on the guard. He admired it for a while. He was still unbelievably impressed that Nya created this armor and her mech all by herself. Jay put the helmet back in the box and relabeled it as Nyas.
Jay then got an idea. "I'm such an idiot," Jay smiled.
"What'd you do now?" Nya chuckled entering the room. Jay turned to see his beautiful girlfriend smiling at him. "Heh, I didn't organize properly," Jay explained.
"Oh, yeah I think I might have put some of my stuff in other peoples boxes," Nya admitted. "I'm surprised you aren't playing video games." "I think I'm video gamed out for the moment," Jay confessed. "Wait- you're not my boyfriend," Nya said with an overly shocked expression on her face.
"What have you been up to?" Jay asked. Nya sighed. "I was talking with Master Wu. He seems really bother by something. I feel like he's not telling us something," Nya said. "It's Wu there's always something he doesn't tell us. Truth always comes out eventually though," Jay responded.
"Yeah," Nya smiled. "Sooo, are you too busy unpacking or..." Nya but her lip. Jay smirked. "Never too busy for you," he said giving her kiss on the cheek.

Jay got up early the next morning to go get Nyas gift. He used his ninja stealth to sneak out. Jay went to jewelry store down in Ignacia where Nya and Kai had grown up.
He called that night to let them know he wanted a custom order so the jeweler was expecting him.
The jeweler was informed that he would be making a necklace but nothing else.
Jay pulled out a piece of scrap metal. It was from Nyas old mech that had gotten damaged far beyond repair. It was the original design so Jay knew it would make it even more special.
"I wanted to turn this into the necklace," he informed.
The employee nodded. "And can you put this symbol on it?" Jay asked. Jay had made a copy of Nyas samurai symbol.
The man smiled. "Of course."

Jay and Nyas anniversary arrived. Nya woke up to a fresh bouquet of lily's which were her favorite.
The couple decided to keep it casual and went on a picnic. Jay wore the outfit he had worn on their first date, so had Nya. They both thought it was funny they had the same idea.
Nya held out a box wrapped in a blue ribbon. "I hope you like it," Nya held her hands together in anticipation.
Jay unwrapped the box and his eyes widened when he saw the contents. "No. You didn't?" Jay said with disbelief. "How'd you get this it was sold out before it was even released?"
Jay pulled out the newest edition of Star- Fairer. 
Nya giggled. "I have my ways," she smirked. "Thank you it's perfect," Jay said holding the comic close to his chest.
Jay placed the comic down to the floor and pulled out his gift for Nya. He handed her the small jewelry box.
Nya looked at him in surprise. "I know you don't like jewelry but I think you like this... hopefully," Jay blushed.
Nya smiled and opened the box and her heart fluttered. "It's made from the metal from your old mech. I had made in Ignacia too," Jay added.
Nya didn't know what to say. "Jay, I, I never like jewelry, until now. Thank you," Nya said jumping into his arms and kissed him on his lips passionately.
"This has been the best year," Jay said as Nya cuddled into his chest. The two peacefully fell asleep on the picnic blanket.
