Jaya Week- Day 3 (Surprise)

It was one of those great days where the ninja had the day off. Most of the team took advantage by sleeping off most of the day. Jay was not one of those people.
Jay along with Zane was a morning person. Nya was still sleeping when Jay woke up to make breakfast. Jay, including the team, didn't mind cooking breakfast. Unlike Cole, Jay actually knew how to cook properly.
Jay was still in his pajamas. He wiped the sleep out of his eyes as he made his way to the kitchen. Jay stopped in his tracks when he heard a knock at the door. He groaned as he went to check who this mysterious knocker was.
Jaya eyes opened wide when he saw his parents and Nyas smiling at him. "Sweetie!" Edna exclaimed charging inside to hug her son.
Mya, Ray, and Ed followed Edna inside.
Jay looked down at his attire and blushed. "I didn't know you guys were coming," Jay sighed embarrassed. "It's been so long we figured we take it into our own hands," Edna smiled sweetly.
"I'm glad to see you don't get me wrong but I literally saw you a few days ago," he added sleepily.
"We are here to see the others too Son, we have lives outside of you," Ed said matter of factly.
"Okay then," Jay sighed. "I was about to make breakfast. I'll add four places."

Zane shortly joined breakfast after the Smiths and Walkers arrived. Everyone followed after except for Nya.
"She's probably still sleeping," Jay said. "I can get her," Maya offered. "It's your funeral," Kai said taking a sip of tea.
Maya walked down the hall into Jay and Nyas room. She smiled at her daughter sleeping comfortably in her bed.
Maya walked over to Nya and lightly tapped her shoulder for her to wake up. "Jay, I'm still tired from puking my guts out last night," Nya whined. Maya scrunched her face attempting to wake her up again.
"Jaaaay my let me sleep."
Mayas mouth went agape. "Nya?" Nya shot up from bed. "Mom?" Nya cried. "Hi Sweetie," Maya said avoiding eye contact. "Fsm what are you doing here?" Nya asked getting out of bed.
"Surprise visit Jays parents are here too," Maya smiled.
"Can we pretend this never happened?" Nya groaned. "What happened?" Maya asked innocently. "K," Nya said leaving the room.
Nya and Maya entered the kitchen to see everyone chatting. "Someone's finally up," Kai teased. Nya rolled her eyes. She was not in the mood.
Ray walked up to his daughter and gave her a hug. "So Wu let's you guys sleep in huh?" Ray asked. "Well Honey she would need rest after the night she had," Maya said plainly. Nya shot her a look. "What do you mean last night we all stayed in," Lloyd said.
Jays face went red as he looked at Nya. "I just told her, um, about feeling sick last night," Nya laughed. "Jay can I speak to you for a minute," she beckoned her boyfriend.

Jay and Nya went into their room. "I think the universe is urging us to tell them," Nya sighed. "How do you mean?" Jay asked. "Both of our parents showing up her at the same time randomly," Nya said. "Besides, I've been getting sicker I think it's getting suspicious," Nya pointed out. "I'm ready when you are," Jay said taking Nyas hands in his own. Nya smiled.
"How are you feeling right now it looks like you need to puke," Jay observed. "You'd be right excuse me I'll be right there and we'll tell them," Nya said dashing into the bathroom.

Jay walked back into the kitchen. "Where's Nya?" Cole asked as he stuffed his face with a pancake. "Heh she isn't feeling great but she'll be out in minute," Jay said.
"Nyas been sick for a while now. Does she have the flu or something?" Cole asked. Jay heard Cole but pretended he didn't.
Nya came out and joined everyone at the table. Everyone was eating now and catching up on their lives and just enjoying one another's company.
"So Nya how are you feeling? The fellas say you haven't been so well," Ed asked. Nya looked at Jay and nodded. "I'm actually great," Nya smiled.
Everyone looked at her confused.
Nya took a deep breath. "I'm pregnant," Nya announced. The room went silent then was flowed with the sound of congratulations and excitement.
"Surprise!"
