Jay's POV

I was walking through the halls of the Monastery heading towards my room when I heard muffled cries coming from Lloyd's room. I stepped into his room after knocking. "Hey Lloyd. You okay" I asked gently. Lloyd wiped his eyes with his sleeve. "I-I'm f-fine" he said holding back more tears. "May I come in" I ask politely. "Um y-yeah s-sure" Lloyd sniffed. Lloyd motioned with his head to a spot next to him. I sat down. "So...Uh thinking about Harumi" I asked very carefully.  "Wh-what n-no I'm not. I'm f-fine" he gulped down a sob. I place my hand on his shoulder measuring him that he can trust me. "Fine, yes" he said crashing his head into his knees. "I see." "It hurts doesn't it" I ask. "No I-I'm just being dramatic" Lloyd said sarcastically. I stay quiet. "Jay I'm sorry I just-" "I know" I cut off Lloyd.

Lloyd's POV

"Do you remember when we where on that train all those years ago trying to defeat the Over Lord" Jay asked half smiling but with sadness in his eyes. "Yes" I said but it sounded more like a question. "Well" he said taking a deep breath. "I saw Cole and Nya kiss." I look at him in shock. I didn't know they kissed I knew they sorta liked each other then but Nya was with Jay. "Really" I asked. "Mhm" Jay replied. "She also told me she wouldn't love me and that she never did" Jay said looking at his feet. "What" I ask "Yeah." "Well she loves you now she always has. It's different. Harumi never even liked me." "Listen. Lloyd love isn't always honest or easy" I stare at him blankly. "She loved you. I saw it in her eyes" Jay smiles still looking at his feet. "She just had too much hate. She couldn't see the love and light" He said getting up looking at his Borg watch. "Thanks Jay" "You're family we look out for each other. Now come on Zane called for dinner. Last one there has to do the dishes for the rest of the week" Jay laughs helping me get to my feet. "You're on" I say chasing him out into the hall.
